Third Person Thursday
Happy St Paddy's Day!!!
Shelley can't believe it is Thursday already.
Shelley is hoping this day goes by fast and that her work doesn't overwhelm her. She's in a good mood and doesn't want that ruined by getting stressed out.
Shelley is hoping she can get out of work a little early tomorrow to enjoy the 60-degree weather.
Shelley is really looking forward to going to Maine this weekend. She hasn't seen her family in forever.
Shelley also is hoping her favorite seasonal seafood place is open. She saw it on Man V Food last night and is now dying for some clam cakes, fries, and cole slaw while watching the waves crash on the rocks just a few feet away. ::drools:: If it is not open yet, she is hoping it will be when her and DH go up in a couple weeks.
Shelley has now made herself hungry!

Stacey wishes she lived in Maine because she would eat seafood all of the time.
Stacey is still sore from lifting weights on Monday. She can barely lift her arms.
Stacey gets to see both of her best friends and their babies today at lunch and she can't wait!!!
Shelley is trying to figure out why the office smells a little like cat pee today. She's not enjoying it.
Shaina's creepy cw asked to friend her on FB and Shaina ignored. Now he's asking why she didn't accept.
Shaina's boss just pissed her off by giving up her conference room to Shaina's bitchy old boss. WTF, I'm the one being proactive and I get booted from the conference room. None of the other conference rooms are setup properly.

Teresa wishes she were home to watch some of the games today. There are some really good matchups today that she would have loved to see.
Teresa cannot wait until dinner tonight. Delicious Corned Beef dinner!

Teresa is getting frustrated with car shopping. She has been looking online to find a place that will have the type of car she wants, in her price range, without 70K miles on the car. She is starting to think that car doesn't exsis. She is starting to resign herself to the fact that she and DH are going to have to compromise and get something that will work for now, and then get something new in a few years when they have kids..

Shelley recommends looking at Carmax. She was leary of using at first but ended up there and it was one of the best car buying experiences = No pressure, can walk the lot and look without being hassled by sales people, and the price is the price. Shelley and her DH we also able to have a couple things verified during the evening after the banks were closed using the internet as proof.
Wendy can't believe how much it bothered her to hear all the party-goers on various radio programs this morning.

Dani's MIL strikes again. It's a never-ending battle with that woman.
Whitney is ashamed of Dani and would shame her into finding some green if she was around her now.
Whitney is starting to feel fat and unattractive. If this was a normal situation she would start dieting but she can not. Plus she is not eating all that bad anyways.
No food sounds good to Whitney except for grapefruit, watermelon and occasionally some sweets. This is not nausea either.

Alicia wants to know what happened. Alicia & Nick had ANOTHER fight about Alicia's MIL last night. The only think Alicia & Nick fight about is Nick's mom and it is really annoying.
Bummer. That's where Shelley bought her car this past summer.
Tania got an iPhone yesterday and she's wondering how she's lived her life without it. She hasn't even done anything super spectacular with it yet.
Tania is a little irritated with Drew's work. She is super, super grateful for his job, but she's getting annoyed at the number of times they've changed his schedule. First, he had Sundays and Mondays off and worked 2 PM until whenever they got off. Then, he had Wednesdays and Thursdays off and worked 2 PM until whenever. Then, he had the same days off but worked 6 PM until 6 AM if they had work, 2 AM if they didn't. Now, he has Tuesdays and Wednesdays off and works 2 PM until 11 PM. Seriously people! Get your shiz together! Can you tell it's a bunch of men running things around there?
Tania has just about made the final decision on her logos. She is so excited to be making some progress.

I'm getting ready to be screwed though because Butler is beating Old Dominion right now....I have OD winning 3 games.
I am currently watching Louisville v. Morehead State....I'm hoping Morehead can pull this one off. Even though I know UofL is the better team, I still could never have them winning a single game in the tournament because my hatred for them clouds my judgment.

Here's the story. Dani doesn't have the energy to type this in 3rd person. Sorry!
So we celebrated my sis's birthday last Friday night. Prior to the dinner, I asked my sis who she wanted to invite and where she wanted to go because I was making the reservation. So the total came to 9. I made the reservation. Done.
So then my sis bumps into my MIL at a restaurant for lunch two days prior to her birthday dinner and decided to be nice and invited my MIL and StepFIL to the dinner. So MIL asks if she can bring her friend (who is always the 3rd wheel in MIL and StepFILs relationship). So my sis calls and changes the reservation to 12.
Fast forward to Friday: I happen to get to the restaurant first (I had my grandmother with me because I had picked her up) and I tell the hostess my name and that I have a reservation for 12. The hostess says "oh the reservation has been changed to 16." Um excuse me? Me: "Really? Who changed it?" Hostess: "The people at the bar." I look over and there's MIL waving at me. She invited 4 extra people to my sister's birthday dinner! One of whom, we had never even met!
So part two starts here. So the hostess takes me and my grandmother to the table. In the process, we have to walk past MIL, StepFIL, 3rd-wheel friend, and the stranger. I say hi and wave as I'm chasing the hostess (grandmother in tow), who is busy because the restaurant was really crowded. I don't stop to give hugs and kisses and all that crap. I found out on Sunday that MIL is mad at me because I didn't stop to give her hugs and kisses. She had every opportunity to come up to me once we were all in the dining room but she didn't. Oh well.
Part three: My sis and her husband would have popped out kids 9 months after their wedding if they could have afforded it. They really want children but just aren't ready financially. So MIL and 3rd-wheel insisted on discussing my baby during the entire dinner right in front my my sis on her birthday. I could have killed her. Even if she didn't know that my sis had wanted children so bad, the evening was about/for my sis, not my and Rob's baby.
Apparently she's still mad at me. Sigh...
