Re: QOTD
mine is either thanksgiving or passover.
they both have great foods.
they both have loads of family dysfunction.
due to family dysfunction, there is usual loads of laughing.
they both have family.
they are both about traditions.
update: holidays i hate the most: easter and st. patty's day.
update #2: also love fourth of july and labor day and memorial day bc they all mean long weekends in the summer with bbqs and drinks!
Blog
I love Thanksgiving: a long weekend, a nice set table, fall colors, the glorious food, family, friends, wine, no gifts exchanged, the onset of the Christmas season.
I also love the Fourth of July: parades, swimming, grilling, fireworks.
Thanksgiving: because I love to cook and feed the family and I was born on it.
Christmas Eve: because my family gets together at Grandma's house which I love and then DH and I go to my church's candle light service
4th of July: because we live in a small town that goes all out for the whole week
My favorite is Christmas. I like decorating for it and I love buying presents for people and I just love curling up with a mug of cocoa with the tree lit.
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
Halloween because we like to decorate, dress up and pass out candy.
Thanksgiving because I love to cook Thanksgiving dinner and out do myself every year.
My favorite is Thanksgiving for all of the food and family time.
I also love Labor Day because it's my birthday, (now anniversary too) and it's always the one last blow out of the summer before fall (my favorite season) gets here.

Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Thanksgiving because I typically get to see extended family that I haven't seen all year long and I love the food!
A week later is my bday.
Then a few weeks later is Christmas! I love all the decorations, lights, smells, baking, food, shopping to find that perfect gift, and seeing that persons face open your gift(s) on Christmas.
Absolute favorite is Christmas because of all the decorations, family time, and gift giving. I love picking out presents for everyone.
2nd favorite would probably be Easter...I have no idea why but I just love Easter. Maybe it's the spring weather or the easter egg hunts with my nieces, and now nephew.
Halloween is number 1 for me. I love all the dark scary stuff and the parties!!
Easter is number 2 for me because it is our largest holiday on my moms side. We always have over 50 people at my grandparents house. Last year we had 54 people!!
I love em all!
I loved them more when I was a federal employee.
But still, even on the ones were I have to come into the city to see my client, my commute time drops to 40mins from 1:30
