How is everyone doing? I had a loss today that was almost exactly my gain from last week, so I'm at about where I was two weeks ago. SXSW has thrown me for a loop b/c my DH's work schedule has been so crazy for the last couple of weeks. Last night, we didn't eat dinner until 10:30. Not good. I'm going to be really diligent about eating at home this week.
I got a bike and love riding it around while the weather is still nice. I am training my dogs to jog along with me and they are in heaven with all the good exercise. Tired dogs are good dogs.

Re: WW check-in
Super jealous of the bike! I've been wanting one but have no freakin idea how to go about choosing one.
Down another 1.4 this week. That's 10! 30 to go....so 25% of the way there
I'm getting discouraged. Not because it isn't working, but it's just so freaking hard! I have to eat perfect and work out perfect, or nothing happens. I keep telling myself it is worth it, but it's exhausting. I haven't done great with food this week, but I'm having great workouts!
I didn't either. I bought one online and then when I tried to take it for a spin around my hilly neighborhood, realized that I would NEVER want to ride it. It was just not the right bike for me and would not work for what I wanted to do. So I returned it and went to a local bike shop, Performance Bicycles. They are having a moving sale, btw. Anyway, they taught me a lot about different bikes and had me try out as many as I wanted. They helped me pick out the perfect starter bike (for me), showed me about maintenance (and they do free maintenance for the life of the bike), did a long safety check, and overall had me feeling really confident about it. I got a great price too - cheaper than online, actually. If you are a newbie to bikes, go to a bicycle store where that's all they do and they will help you figure it out.
I'm looking at bikes for DH and I also. Would you mind sharing what price you paid? If you don't feel comfortable posting, I understand. Or if you want to email me, that's ok too. mandy dot n dot burson at gmail dot com
