Do you wear it on top of or underneath your engagement ring? Like, closer to your hand or your fingertips?
Our jeweler said it doesn't matter, but my sister told me she had always heard you wear it closest to your heart, so I wear it underneath.
Just curious what you all do...

I wear it under my engagement ring, but it's mostly an aesthetic thing - I don't like the way my set looks in reverse. I do know a few people who wear it the other way, and the reasoning I've always heard is that it "seals the promise." I think that's kind of nice, actually.
But I still prefer mine underneath.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermMine is underneath also. My mom told me on my wedding day about the whole "closer to your heart" thing, so that is what we did
But I've seen it both ways, as well as a band on each side of the ERing.

Mine too, I keep telling Lance that would be a great first anniversary gift.
That's really nice. Mine are soldered together, and this is one of the two reasons I wish it weren't (the other being so that I can just wear my band when I go to the gym or somewhere else that I don't want to wear my e-ring).

What a nice thought! I guess it's a matter of preference.
Mine looks better underneath also, so I will stick to that, too.

You know, it's funny - this is what I thought I would want, mostly because I like things to be symmetrical. But the more I wear my rings, the more I love them the way they are...
So I suppose Chris is off the hook!

I don't think I know anybody who wears it over. Mine is under-obv.
It looks better to me and I didn't know that wasn't the way it was supposed to be.
Honestly I never heard the closer to your heart thing. But I really think that is cute!
