Ladies...
I want to thank you for all of your advice... I did a lot of soul searching and reflecting last night and early this morning. The truth is, I really wanted the FL job to be the right one and that clearly came out in the post I made last night. What I couldn't ultimately reconcile is the 3 turnovers in that position in 4 years (thats a lot for my organization) and the conversation I had with the current person in the role that she is working 60 hours a week all the time and gets no real support from her manager. I have been in situations like that before, and I don't do well with it. At the end of the day (and I knew all along,) the job with my current company is the right one for us right now. Once I made the decision, I was almost immediately at peace! I have been stressed over this for so long, it felt good to finally resolve everything!
So now we get into this crazy relocation mode. We are going to have to do some serious house cleaning and touching up to get it ready to sell. Luckily my boss is going to let us stay here until our house sells and I did negotiate for them to cover loss on sale of the house which will allow us to price it pretty competitively.
You Boston area ladies... another J9er is heading your way
Re: So.... we are moving to MA!

Good for you!
I know choices like that can be hard. I'm sure a lot of what we read (with all the FL love) was you trying to convince yourself of the good parts of Jacksonville. Based on this post, it seems no question that MA will be the best option for you and your family.
Good luck on the move! Keep us posted on how the transition goes!
Good for you! Hope your move/transition is smooth & easy!
Thanks everybody!!!
The job is in Raynham, south of Boston. We will probably look for something fairly close to the office as I don't want a huge commute.
Congrats!
That kind of turnover would make me second guess a position as well, especially with a big move involved.
