  • I love pho!

Pho is a Vietnamese soup.  It's a really yummy broth, and has rice noodles.  You can garnish it with fresh lime, bean sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, and jalepenos.  It can be messy to eat - lots of slurping of noodles.  I crave it when I'm feeling sick.  The most common type of pho is beef.  And you can get all types of beef - sliced eye of round, brisket, and more exotic stuff like tendon.  I've also seen chicken and seafood versions of pho.

Here's a version that I blogged last year.

  • I am trying Pho for the first time tonight.  I can't wait.  I have heard it is really yummy.
  • I LOOOVE pho. I'm Vietnamese, so I've eaten it practically all my life. If it's becoming a trend, it's a damn good one, and plenty healthy. I love mine packed with cilantro and mint.
