So when H and I adopted P.D., there was this beautiful husky named Fawn at the shelter. She'd been there since October and hadn't made our "list" simply because we wanted someone who was on the younger side and she's b/t 8 & 9 y/o.
I just looked and she's still there.
This was the convo b/t H and I:
QoA:is it bad that i kind of want to adopt
fawn
Husband: hehe i was thinking that too
Husband: what's wrong with
us?
I think I'm going to say "if she isn't adopted by this date, we're going to get her." I think H and I are crazy. Since we're not having real babies, I think we're going to have a house full of fur babies.

Woke up. Still queen.
Re: Uh oh . . .
She's so pretty!!!
If we had a backyard we'd adopt another dog...or two.
If you absolutely had to adopt a husky, an older one is definitely the way to go.
They are pretty taxing as young dogs.
They are notoriously hard to house break among other issues.
My mother in law has a 2 year old husky. He is a gorgeous, sweet dog but wowie....

Too cute! Boy am I a sucker for cats and dogs. I wish we could have pets but we can't, we're hoping to change that soon. Richard wants a husky/german shepherd mix.

Ooo what a pretty dog!
I'm so glad H is on board with me that once we have a house we're definitely going to become the crazy cat couple.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
She's beautiful. And if you aren't having regular babies, I definitely say go for it since Huskies aren't known for being great with kids.
I have a soft spot for seniors too. I just can't bear to see them live out their last years in a shelter. No matter how nice they try to make it, it's still not having a home.

(sorry about the blurriness)
Datsyuk is in the back of this one, sleeping on the couch. Dixie (a jack russell beagle mix) is in the front. Because of the perspective, you can't see how much smaller Dixie is.
