I'm in a really horrible mood today.
1st a 7th grader had a baby yesterday, and is choosing to parent the child. (yes because a 12/13 year old makes a fine parent). 2nd because I'm still dealing with the physical crap that came along after losing my beautiful babies. 3rd, because every.single.day. someone else is either announcing their pregnancy or having perfectly healthy babies. While I wait for a pannel of people to decide who I "deserve" to be the parent of. That my friends is bullshiit.
Hopefully this weekend will be better. I plan on going to see the musical my old school is putting on, saturday it's ladies night at my house, and then sunday and monday it's getting ready for surgery stuff.

FMO - sorry you are having a tough day
I found out yesterday that 2 of our 8th grade girls are pregnant, and they are both planning on keeping the babies. I will never understand why kids think they can handle the responsibility of raising a child.
This weekend is going to be pretty low-key. It is supposed to be 75 degrees today, so DH and I are planning on throwing the softball around to get ready for the season. We are finally finished painting, so we can start unpacking tomorrow.

MO - I hear ya on the every other day pregnancy announcements. I am happy for these people, it's not like they don't deserve children... but it just hurts and is hard to understand why some get it easy and others have to go through hell. Definitely makes it the most frustrating process ever.

I am so glad that it's Friday. I'm am still quite exhausted. Tonight we are going out to dinner for my FIL's birthday. Otherwise, I have no major plans other than doing some work around my house and watching some basketball. I love March Madness!

First - sorry for getting heating up the discussion yesterday. My bad. It's been ages that I've been able to have a conversation like that, and I've really missed those heated debates from college. Seriously, my intent wasn't to offend anyone in the process. If I did, again, my bad. Hope your night was lovely and that no college kids ended up using the alley behind your house as a green beer vomit repository all night long. (Yes, that's what happened to us.)

Third - Erinn & FMO - I'm still really sorry for everything y'all have gone through. Life isn't fair, and it sucks that you guys are living that. It sucks. And I'm sorry. And I wish there was something else I could say or do than that.
Fourth - my husband has taken the day off so we're going to back a picnic lunch and go wander 'round Cabbagetown and the Necropolis (sounds awesomely creepy, huh?) as part of our day o'fun. I'm excited to go take pictures and enjoy being out in the sunshine!

We went out with some friends to play some trivia and have dinner. It was fun but I am paying for it this morning. I am so tired and when I'm tired I'm sick so I am so glad it's Friday.
This weekend will probably include some cleaning, shopping, date with my husband and relaxing.

MO and Rayne, I can't believe you guys will have pregnant gals in your class that young. And where are these ppl's parents to talk some sense into them! I really struggle with the idea of young girls having babies. I know it's their bodies and their right, but honestly, how can someone that young be a parent when they need their own parents still to guide them?
Ok, I'm off to buckle down and get my work done for the day. It's gonna be a buys one, but I am soooo thankful it's Friday.

FMO and EHayes- I am so sorry you girls are going through this. It is so hard, I just can't put into words how sorry I am for what you have had to endure.
Today should be a good day. Just work and then going away for the weekend after work. Going to the mainland to see my family, I am really quite excited! I haven't seen my family since Thanksgiving, and they haven't seen me since my weight-loss so that is exciting as well. It should be fun, exciting. I'm just really looking forward to some mom time!
MO - I'm sorry you're having a crappy day. just keep your head up and try to stay positive, even though I'm sure it's incredibly tough. what you're going through is not fair at all... I wish there was something I could do to help. =(
Erinn - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you for a BFP this weekend!
Raynes - I kind of hate you right now. have a blast on vacation and try not to rub it in too much when you get back.
I'm in a pretty good mood today - the weather here is perfect and we've finally got a little warmth... spring is definitely on it's way, and that makes me a happy girl.
I'm celebrating my 25th birthday this weekend (actual birthday is Wednesday if you guys want to send gifts, haha) with a great group of people. I'm really excited to go out and spend time with friends... we've been cooped up at home trying to save money for a few months, so this little splurge on a night out is much needed!

-Raynes, I hope you have a blast on your trip!
- I can't believe these 7th and 8th graders trying to raise kids. There is just no way in hell I was ready to raise a child at 12/13 years old. No way. WHY are these kids having kids?! It makes me so angry. Not getting pregnant is incredibly easy and how to prevent pregnancy is common knowledge. There is no excuse.
-I am really sad that this board has seen so many baby losses.
-My IL's are in town this weekend. I'm helping out with a rehearsal tonight at church and a wedding tomorrow, so it will be a pretty busy weekend. We may go car shopping on Sunday. DH wants to get a new Elantra, but the whole point in us getting a new car is to have more space, and I don't know how much more space we'll get trading out one compact car for another.

I am currently repairing the damage I did by uncharacteristically going off on my BIL gf because two days before they were supposed to leave the US and meet us in Barcelona.She bailed and broke up with him leaving a heart broken and depressed BIL to come to Spain. Then they made a miraculous get back together when he came back. I just wanted her to realize that what she did really did some damage. I don't regret what I said. Just the manner in which I said it. I have never been so angry. I was in big sister protector mode. I was so angry I lost feeling in my hands. Ended up leaving the hockey game we were at. It was not a good St Patrick's Day for me.
MO - I'm sorry you had a crappy day. I hope that someday soon, you'll have some kiddos in your house who you'll care so much about, you won't remember a time when they weren't there.

raynes - I am jealous. Hope you have a fantastic trip!
No special plans for the weekend. We may go to a birthday party for one of Manuel's co-workers tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain this weekend which means I won't want to go anywhere. Other than that, the usual cleaning and errands to do. Hope you all have a great weekend!

I'm SO glad it's Friday. Just got down with 7 days in a row and I need these next 2 days off.
Work was pretty decent today. Not too busy but plenty of problems. I'm in a much better mood today.
I got in a 9.5 mile run in after work. I didn't want to do my long run tomorrow since I have a 5k race Sunday morning.
Tomorrow I'm going to the states with a friend to go dress shopping at Nordstrom Rack. So excited!
