Awesome natural cleaning product rave!!!

About a year ago, we found out that our son (who already has a ton of special needs) had an immune disorder. His immune system is considerably weakned due to his other health issues so we needed to be more careful about things he's being exposed to. This immediately made us switch into high gear and we cleaned all potentially hazardous cleaning products out of our cabinets and switched to all natural products. We actually made a complete switch (on a whim) with melaleuca products b/c we were told that since they are so concentrated, we won't end up spending an arm and a leg on cleaning products. We were skeptical and I always wondered if all natural cleaning products worked as well as the other brands. Well, we are actually loving it and we have been saving money so we stuck with it.

Anyway, we recently moved and I noticed that the bathtub in my son's bathroom started to accumulate a very oily ring. The bathtub cleaner we had been using was NOT working. So I ordered a product called Mela Magic (http://www.melaleuca.com/ProductStore/Product.aspx?sku=1235) and decided to try it on the tub today. I sprayed it on the ring and let it sit for 5 minutes and came back expecting to have to scrub it. It simply wiped right off the tub with no effort at all! I was so pleased :) I truly was expecting to have to go and get a container of scrubbing bubbles to clean his tub but I'm glad I didn't. If you are looking for an easier way to clean hard stains without harsh chemicals, I highly recommend this product.

  • Awesome.

I think our kids tend to leave an oily ring in the tub because of the more moisture rich products used on their skin. After each bath I make sure to wipe down the sides with soap on the used wash cloth, it has helped avoid a build-up ring.

Nice to know there is a product to use though that is natural.

We switched to  natural/organic products shortly before DS came into our lives - haven't looked back.
