I'm home and everything as of now seems to be normal and we're all fine.
The doctor completely ruled out Pre-E... which I figured they would because I didn't have any protein in my urine and my blood pressure is way too low.... In fact, it got really low that the machine started beeping because it was below normal. They did blood work it's possible I may have a cousin of pre-e, HELLP syndrome.
I forget what all the letters stand for, but the doctor right now suspects I may have the "H" in HELLP which stands for hemolysis (the break down of red blood cells). But it's only one symptom and I have to have more to actually have this syndrome... and I may not even really have the "H" because the blood cells could have broken down while they were doing the lab work ups and not broken down in my body.... So I have to go back on Monday for more work up and hopefully they can rule out this symptom.
The good thing about this is if I do have anything, we caught it very early.
As for Evie, she's perfectly fine. She was so active while we were at the hospital even going as far kicking the monitors on my stomach. We actually are going for a growth and position scan tomorrow afternoon, so I'll get to see my girl in action!
Again, thank you everyone for your support and vibes. It means a whole lot to me and Evie to know that you ladies were thinking of us!
Re: OK, Last Update... for awhile, I hope!
Thanks, I do, too!
Honestly, it freaks me out a little to think that my blood cells could be breaking down. The strange things pregnancy does to your body!!
