So yesterday our great niece (SIL's 5-year-old granddaughter) decided to do something very generous.  Her mom took her for a basic hair cut (her hair is down to her little bottom) and out of the blue she told the stylist, "I want to donate my hair to locks of love."  It threw her mom for a loop!  The stylist told her how much she would have to get cut off in order to donate and she just smiled and said "ok." 

Other than hearing her kindergarten teacher talk about this when discussing helping others, she came up with this on her own.  They did a write-up in their local paper on it too, and have her picture in it.  :)  We are all so proud of her generosity and giving spirit!!!!
