Its finally here!
Did anyone have green beer? We're going out tonight for BILs girlfriends birthday. Even though I know I'll be tired, I kind of hope we go out a bit later than usual. I found out last night one of my college classes decided to skip spring break and I have a ton of work due by Sunday. So I'd like to get some cleaning done tonight before we go out since Saturday sounds like homework day for me.

Last night for dinner I made a new chicken and rice dish...it smells so yummy and thought it would be great. Well, the rice was good, but the chicken was super bland. I couldn't even eat my whole chicken breast...I was really disappointed.
Today on my lunch hour I'm going to ON to get Don some shorts for work...and if I see anything maybe something for me too. Then tonight after work I'm going to Sams Club to stock up on food because we barely have anything in the house. Dinner is going to be pizza followed by watching some TV shows.
Tomorrow we're bowling for Junior Achievement, I'd posted about it previously. Don and I both raised $100 each so I'm quite happy! We're bowling in Richmond, which is where we'll be moving to and it's with the branch that I'll be working for soon so it'll be a nice way to get to know everyone there that I haven't already met! After bowling my Mom is making us dinner...I can't wait. She doesn't cook too often anymore and she's such a good cook too.
Sunday Don's working on his car over at his Dad's house so he won't be around so I'll make sure to get the house clean and do some laundry. I have a few coupons that I'm really wanting to use up...sure, I'll go buy new clothes. I mean I need to because I'll be starting a new job soon and I can't wear jeans...yup, I just convinced myself!
So glad it's Friday and I'm not working (well, at work anyway). It was a furlough that they then gave back to us if we wanted off. The teachers all have professional development classes they can take but nothing for SLPs so I'll just do some work from home and call it a day.
I'm about to go to the DMV's office and FINALLY get my new DL's and then meet up with Jeremy at the bank so we can get this joint checking thing done. Then off to a craft store to find fabric to make a quilt. I'm going to tackle this dream and get it done.
We're going to my parents this weekend for all the St. Patty's day festivities. Jeremy is playing in the tennis tournament (singles, doubles(with my dad) and, now, mixed doubles since some lady signed up w/o a partner). I'm doing the 1k with my mom, sister and nephew. I'll pretty much be at the courts all day Saturday and Sunday cheering on Jeremy.

TGIF! For some reason it doesn't feel like Friday and my tourney bracket is already poofed. What the farg. It's gorgeous here though, and that is awesome! I'm getting out at lunch today to walk instead of hitting the treadmill at the gym. I will walk the dogs tonight too. I'd like to leave a smidge early if I can.
I am really really REALLY hoping this Indian head massage I'm getting tomorrow morning helps me with the awful headaches I've been having daily. Fingers crossed.
Last night I went home, changed, did three loads of laundry, walked the dogs, ate, packed lunch, laid out clothes for today, vacuumed the top floor, dusted the basement and put some stuff away. I headed out to Target, ShopRite and Marshall's to pick up some stuff. MFD got home around 10:30 and we watched 30 Rock, then I shuffled up to bed and read People mag.
Not much going on this weekend...I have the aforementioned massage tomorrow morning at 9:30 and I need to let my mom's dogs out tomorrow night. MFD's parents might come for dinner.
Other than that I will lounge, read, watch movies, touch up the paint on our bedroom ceiling, and put together two baskets for beef & beer chinese auctions.

But I got to drive my NEW CAR!!! Greg worked yesterday so MIL and I went to his restaurant and sat there and drank green beer.
No really plans for this weekend. I think I might do some outlet shopping with a friend on SUnday while greg goes down to FT Myers to see the Red Sox. Monday I get to leave work early and we are going to see the Sox play the Phillies.
I finally got my new SS card and changed over my credit cards, bank accounts, mortgage, insurance, etc. I'm waiting for my photo card back so I can get my new license, it expired 3/16. They cashed my check last week so I'm hoping to have it in hand soon.
LTB, that totally sucks about your class. Seriously. I'd be so pissed.
Jen - I got some great stuff at Old Navy and Gap online yesterday with the Give & Get 30% off. Fingers crossed I love it all when it arrives at my house.
Bah hambug! I may just finish my cup of coffee and go back home.
After work yesterday, I went straight to the Walmart to grocery shop for my party tonight. Apparently Thursdays are NOT the day to go, they were out of a lot of items. Had to go to regular grocery store, get gas and also go to liquor store.
Got home at 6 and immediately starting making things. Put hamburger on for 7 layer dip, cut up chicken to marinade for dinner, made the artichoke dip, and started the chocolate/pb cupcakes. Then at 8, Jersey Shore came on and I took a little break. After the show, had to go clean up the kitchen, finish the cupcakes, and 7 layer dip, finished cleaning the house, did laundry, gave myself a mani/pedi, read for a few, then crashed at 11.
Woke up at 4 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. Got up at 4:30, farted around on FB, got in the shower at 5, washed my hair and went in to the spare bathroom to blow dry. About 2 minutes in, the blow dryer stopped working. I am by no means a blow drying expert, seeing as how I only do it about once a month. Couldn't figure it out, I thought it was too hot. So I went back to FB to let the dryer cool down. When I went back, it still wasn't working, so I ended up blowdrying my hair in the kitchen. When I finished, went back into the master bathroom to finish getting ready and the lights were out. I thought DH got up and turned them off. Turns out, I blew the fuse.
Long story short, I ended up curling and straightening my hair in the kitchen w/ no mirror, my hair looks like asss bag, I have no makeup on, picked my clothes out in the dark via flashlight, and I'm exhausted. Plus it snowed last night, so I walked outside and had to scrape my car. Was late to work and I just want to go back home and go to bed.
I say again, bah hambug.

This morning has been chaos so far. Our work campus is a bunch of parking lots surrounding the main building. There is one giant loop that goes the whole way around for access to the parking lots, but there is only one way in and one way out to the main road. There was a fire in the laundry this morning and they evacuated the building. They also wouldn't let anyone into the parking lots so the fire trucks could get in. Except that meant that there was a huge line of traffic around the loop and out onto the main road, no one knew what was going on, and because of the backlog of cars, the fire trucks couldn't have gotten in anyway. It was ridiculous.
2 weeks of work left. At least I have a boatload of stuff on my to do list so I should be kept pretty busy for the next 10 days, 6hours and 15 minutes. Not that I'm counting or anything.
K finally sold the Tahoe and the guy who bought it is coming to pick it up Sunday afternoon. I am so stoked to have our house look less like a used car parking lot. (We're down to 3 car/trucks, 2 motorcycles, 1 camper, 1 utility trailer...) And to have a bit more cash in our pockets.
I went w/ Pin Kickers since thats what my team liked the best.
I know right? And your mouth should be watering, cuz I make some MEAN dips!

It's basically a sticker. Not sure what it's made from, but it smells like nail polish when you open the package. It says it lasts up to 10 days, so we'll see what happens. You take it off w/ polish remover.
PS-Steph, I just bought my first bottle of Essie polish too. Never heard of it before your post last week. On my toes now, we'll see how it does

5K run last night went GREAT, i am SO pumped for the race tomorrow! i am signing up to do a 10K this fall and then next spring i will be doing a half marathon
ww tonight, so scared. due to gerren's drinking last night he did NOt have dinner. i had both of our portions. wtf is wrong with me???

it wasn't too bad, just a little time consuming. there's backing on the front AND back, but the directions are pretty clear. my right hand looks worse than my left, but that's typical even when i'm painting my nails
Happy Friday. This week actually went by pretty quickly for me since I had so much crap at work to do.
Tomorrow we are going to meet up with a lender and do a first time homebuyer workshop thing. I really want to buy a house and with prices as low as they are it would be a good opportunity. I don't want to get my hopes up, we will see what happens. I then have to take my car to Honda for an oil change. Then we have to go to a dealer show for one of our vendors (Custom Chrome). It's an all day event but it ends with a dinner and drinks, so it should be fun.
