catered offices lunches are getting boring.
I am in charge of catering office lunches for meetings and our caterer usually brings the same thing: boring sandwiches with fruit salad or the soup of the day. People groan when they see me coming in to their meeting with my boring lunch selection.
Our caterer is open to suggestions and will make just about anything we ask for but hot foods are out because the meeting will order lunch for 12:30 and not break until 1:30 to eat so a hot meal would just get cold.
Also, I'm in Amsterdam, so suggestions like costco trays or other things like that won't work.
Thanks for your ideas!

Grilled chicken and steak salads? Our caterers set up a salad buffet and the grilled chicken and steak are okay at room temperature, they don't have to be served hot.
We also upscaled our sandwiches a bit. Roast beef with boursin herb cheese, marinated chicken breast with honey mustard and a mozzerella tomato and basil sandwich.
salads are what I was thinking as well. Also... upscale sandwiches... chicken with pesto, chipotle mayo w/ chipped beef, etc. Anyway of doing a taco salad or cold nacho bar?
I know you mentioned that you bring the catering in... but anyway they could deliver hot at 1:30?
Also... what do the people at the meetings suggest? They may not have any good ideas once they realize it can't be hot foods.
