Bridal shower favors help
I'm putting together my sister's wedding shower (4/16) & would like some ideas from you lovely ladies. She's getting married @ Atlantic Beach Club in July. Their cake looks like a sandcastle & the decor is aqua color with yellow accents. For my shower we did a votive candle (Yankee Candle Sun & Sand to be specific) ina little glass holder with a ribbon in pink & spring green (my colors); I don't want to copy that. I'm fairly crafty & don't expect a ton of people (30-40); any ideas?

Re: Bridal shower favors help
First off, I can't stop staring at your siggy - it's mesmerizing.
OK, for your question - I went to a wedding in the Dominican, and for one of they favors, they had flip-flop luggage tags, which I loved and needed.
These are cute. So are these. And if you're looking to do a candy favor, these are so cute!
How about something like this....I think they can easily be made....Although you may have trouble finding the ornaments this time a year. But I bet a place like ACMoore could order them for you.....You can paint your sisters and her FI name on them and fill them as you wish....sand, shellls...whatever beach theme. I think they are cute.
This is cute, but what if you did beach grass?? That way it fits their decor, but it is also spring-y since the shower is in April.
Or you could do something edible like rock candy in their wedding colors.
I'm not a fan of favors that say the names of the couple because when you really think about it, do you want to display that in your house for more than a few weeks/days? The ornaments are cute too, but I would put the names on a ribbon or tag so people have the option to remove them.
Sounds fun!!
P.S. my baby shower was in April and my mom bought a bunch of reusable bags from the Christmas Tree Shop and people LOVED them. They were really cute-they folded up tiny so you can keep them in your purse. We also had a candy buffet.
My friend owns Amy's Apples and this photo is from her web site www.ampyapples.com
She did all my favors for my wedding showers, wedding, and baby showers. I am a big fan of favors that people can eat or are useful in some way. This photo is just an example of what she can do but she will also customize anything you want. She was just on Phantom Gourmet last month. Tell her Pam sent you if you go!
