Sometimes loving means letting go

I can't stop crying today, but you all have been so sweet and supportive with your thoughts and prayers for Brodie that I wanted to give you an update.

We're planning on taking him to the vet tonight when DH gets home from work and saying goodbye. It's without a doubt one of the most difficult decisions we've ever had to make, but in the last few days he's gone down hill to the point that it's pretty obvious that he's suffering. As of yesterday, he's too weak to stand up from lying down on his own and while I still got a big kiss when I just came home from work, I can't live in denial anymore. I swore that I'd only hold on if it looked like he was still able to enjoy life... I think those moments are behind us now.

Anyway, I know we're a board filled with a lot of fur baby love so I just wanted to thank you all for being so sweet and for thinking of me, DH & our sweet boy. And now, because I am one proud fur baby mom, excuse me while a AW my love.

ETA: Crap. Sorry...I resized them and they're still huge.
