Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Please reassure me....
I just swallowed a Werther's Original whole and now i'm freaking out that it's going to get stuck in the "pipe" leading to my stomach and choke me to death while no one is around to save me.
Can someone please reassure me this won't happen?

Ok, as long as you're mostly sure.
If you can breathe, it went all the way down into your stomach and is probably currently disintegrating.
That had to hurt though -- I've swallowed pieces of hard candy before and it feels like someone punched you in the throat.
I LOL'ed at your description. Yeah, I was freaking out waiting for the pain, but it actually went down surprisingly easy. I had a split second to gag myself and spit it out, but I panicked and swallowed. I'm all good though, just trying to provide a giggle.
