Thanks for checking in on me! The shots are going well. I am shocked that I have been able to give them to myself but I have gotten used to it quickly. I have my next appt. with the perinatologist next Fri. and am praying that the clot is gone by then so I can stop the shots.
We did have a place that we thought we liked but have actually changed our plans since seeing that house. Andrew had his Early Intervention appt. on Wed. and it went a little worse than anticipated. He needs a lot of work on his speech and even needs some occupational therapy. He's going to need therapy at least several times a week (we'll get his definite therapy schedule next week) and we're going to need a lot of support from family. So...we decided that it would be best for us to stay as close as we can to my family and we are changing the location of where we are moving. We are going to move about 45 mins. north from here. It will be a long commute for DH, but it's really the best compromise. Not only will we be closer to family, but the area is SO much cheaper than it is up where DH works, so we will be able to get a much nicer house. Honestly, the house we liked (we only liked it cause it was the best out of all the dumps we saw) would have been WAY too small for us and still needed a lot of work, which we don't want to do. So now we have to start our house search over again, but I'm so much happier with this decision.
Thanks again for checking on us!
Re: Kellie (re: your post to me from a few days ago)
Im glad the shots are going well, hope your next appt goes well and everything has cleared up (and no more shots!).
Aw, Im sorry to hear about Andrew. It must be hard for you, but you are doing what is best for him and by doing that he will soar in his therapy. My nephew is 5 and has speech problems, and it breaks my heart that his Mom (my SIL) doesnt care enough about it to seek out help for him. You are such a caring mom to put him first (and so is your DH for doing a long commute).
It sounds like everything is working out for the best for you guys, I hope you find a home you love, and easily/quickly! GL and keep us posted
Glad the shots are going well and I hope you don't have to do anymore shots.
I am sorry to hear about little Andrew but it sounds like you guys are doing everything you can for him and with having family close by that will help out even more.
Good luck on the house search.
