Re: Fun Friday
Lets see....
Today i have a half day (yippee!) but i will probably be spending it call one of our credit card companies that wacked us with a past due/late fee even though i paid the bill and they cashed my check last month! GRR! Hate them.
Then i will be cleaning my house and doing laundry that i have been slacking on.
Saturday I plan to spend the day w/ my mommy. We're going to go to my cousins championship basketball game in the afternoon adn i'm not sure what else we'll be doing.
Sunday I plan to finish cleaning and work on getting our guest bedroom emptied and finished (the walls are not mudded or anything) so that my mom can stay over when she doesnt feel like being at home.

I'm looking forward to a fun weekend!
Tonight, I'm going with a friend to see Sleeping Beauty at the Houston ballet. It's "under 25 Friday" so we get 2 orchestra tickets for $25. Since I'm turning 26 in a month, this will be the last time I can take advantage
Tomorrow, DH and I are going to the rodeo! Iamsoexcited! And I'm going to break out my cowboy boots.
Sunday is the usual - church and lots of dance rehearsals.
Somewhere in there, I need to get to the grocery store, since I have no food in the kitchen. Enjoy your weekends, ladies!
Nothing too exciting!
Tonight, one of DH's best friends is stopping by. He lives a few hours North of us, and is heading to his parents. He's stopping for dinner, and may stay the night. He's a blast - I've very excited.
Tomorrow - probably being lazy, might watch a few movies we have on our DVR.
Sunday - church, thats about it.
Love lazy weekends!
I'm so excited to just stay home this weekend and get things done.
So other than cleaning, I will be cooking up a few vegan recipies to prepare for the following week.
And spending some time with the kidos in between.
Happy weekend everyone!
FACE-PALM FRIDAY!!
I was thinking of this last night after a face-palm moment. We could tell each other our face-palm(embarrassing) moments from the week. Or someone elses that you witnessed.
My DH and I stopped by the grocery store before picking up the kids lastnight. We each had three items, mine were all vegan and his pretty much all meat products.
So while in line DH points to our items and says, "Her stuff, his stuff" as our items were seperated on the counter.
While the lady is checking them and putting them into bags she says, "Her bag, his bag" as she has put them in seperate bags.
No even thinking I say, good! Cause I'm not touching his meat!
Of course everyone laughs, and Dh says, "Oh, yes you will!"
Lol, sorry I have a nack for taking a long time to tell a story.
Today- lounging and picking up sil and our neice up at the airport, we made a sign for them it's awesome.
Tomorrow- pictures in the morning the possibly skating and bowling and possibly getting my hair did.
Sunday- what ever else we want to do before they leave in the evening.
Today: gym after work, chiropractor (finally! - it's been 3 years since I've last been and I totally need an adjustment), then we're off to DH's cousin's for the weekend
Tomrrow: spending the whole day with our godson (and his brother and sister)! So excited to see them - we haven't spent any real time with them in a while
Sunday: church and normal errands
Tonight- going with friends to see our wedding band! The full band is playing tonight, and it's been ages since we've seen them all play.
Tomorrow- sleeping in. clean house. unpack more. go to see one of my favorite bands, the Saw Doctors, with one of my friends! DH is playing at a bar and will miss the show.
Sunday- church, some shopping, and a whole lot of nothing (I hope).
Today - Doing NOTHING, sleeping resting, whatever I want. Things have been SO insane lately, I need a break! Hopefully going for pizza when J gets home from work, then bed early...
Saturday - Guard show, hence the early bedtime. It'll be a 7am-8pm kind of day, especially since the show is so long!
Sunday - church, errands, homework (for me) and probably a few movies. Just me and J enjoying a day @ home.
Nothing too exciting, but next weekend will be fun!
Today- Got out of work at 11am YAY!! Going for a fish fry tonight with DH, MIL & BIL.
Tomorrow- Working 7-11am then the kids are coming at Noon. SD and I have a wedding shower to go to, then we're meeting DH & the boys at a birthday party for my cousin. Then maybe Family game night.

Bring on the Spring!!!
Friday- After work today, some coworkers and I went out for drinks to celebrate the weather, and the ending of CAPT testing (I think it was just as exhausting and stressful for us teachers as it was the students-haha)... did my P90X Cardio and now I am relaxing and will be going to bed in a bit
Saturday- Yoga, laundry, maybe shopping for shoes? then working all night
Sunday- work first thing in the morning, visiting the IL's, and lesson planning
Today I watched some March madness with DH and a friend whose hubby was working, then we went to this hole in the wall fried seafood place for a fish and chips dinner (YUM). My friend and I went shopping for about 45 min just to walk off the dinner and look for clothes for....
Tomorrow! Tomorrow is said friend's birthday celebration so we are heading to an entertainment district here in Columbus to have a nice dinner then hang out at a piano bar during the evening. In the morning, DH and I are going to look for a desk at an Amish furniture shop.
Sunday I don't really have any plans other than church. I'll probably do some grading/planning, but no pressure because it's spring break!!!!
my read shelf:
Today/Tonight - The school cancelled after school activities due to an event across the street, so I lost a rehearsal even though we open in a week. So I came home and took a much-needed 3.5 hour nap. DH came home and we ate and did laundry.
Tomorrow - Chores in the AM, driving out to work by 12:15 to get the building open for the 1pm Dress Rehearsal! It's going to be a LONG day...
Sunday - Catching up on paperwork and accounting. I cannot WAIT until April when I get my life back.
One month to the bahamas! It's ALMOST here!
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
