Favorite Restaurants

What are your favorite restaurants and why?

I have quite a few.  I love this local restaurant called Hana Yori (Japanese teppan restaurant)!  They cook the food in front of you and it is so darn delicious!  I also love another local restaurant called Tippecanoe (www.tippe.com).  The restaurant is a restored historic mansion and I love historic mansions!  The food is wonderful and the service awesome!  I also love Olive Garden and Panera!

Your turn!

We had my brother's college graduation lunch there! (He went to Rivier.)  It was pretty good.

We tend to skip chain restaurants, since Boston has a ton of great restaurants all over.  Our favorites are Marliave (mmm, beef wellington), Grotto (small Italian restaurant, and owned by the same company as Marliave, actually), and almost anywhere in the North End that isn't on Hanover street.

When we go into the North End we stay away from hanover St, except for our stop at Modern Pastries.  We eat at this little place....ummm...Paglucia's...love it.  Last time we were there the little old lady is the kitchen was screaming at this big guy, with a wooden spoon in her hand LOL fantastic. http://www.pagliucasrestaurant.com/

  • I love food...and I love restaurants...so I have lots of favorites.  Here's just a few (the names are linked to their websites)

My absolute favorite restaurant is Cut in Los Angeles.  Every bite of food their is incredible.

Favorite Tulsa restuarant: Mahogany  It is our go-to birthday/celebration restaurant, but we went last night with the plan to just sit at the bar and have a glass of wine and an appetizer.  Sadly (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) the aroma of their steaks is hard to resist, so we ended up having dinner and spending way more than we'd planned.  But it was oh, so yummy!

    Favorite Texas restaurant:
    Breadwinners
Delicious for dinner, but the absolute best for brunch

    Favorite Chain restaurant: Carrabbas

I would list 10 more favorites, but that would just bore you.  Mmm...food!

I think I've talked about the Melting Pot enough....that's definitely my favorite. Lets face it it's a magical place full of yumminess.

Other than that I really like Tea-pot (the local chinese food place).
