H and I are kicking around the idea of moving to the Seattle area. Just wondering how nursing pay is vs. cost of living. TIA.
Re: RNs in Pacific Northwest
I grew up in that area. A couple of old friends are now nurses in their mid-twenties, and both recently purchased beautiful homes and are starting families. It could be their husbands are paid well, but I consider both to be upper middle class.
I am in Portland...we pay out nurse's $32-$45/hr based on experience....unionized
Seattle area probably pays 5-10% more
