What are your thoughts on this? We had never done it until a couple of days ago because Keaghan was really hot and then again last night because Jack has a fever and K wanted one too... I am not sure I am totally comfortable with it, I have fears of them being tired and taking a drink and choking... am I being irrational? Do you let your kiddos have a water cup in bed? BTW: it would always be water... never juice or milk..
Re: water sippy in crib?
I'm on the opposite side, so of course I'm now feeling bad about it. Owen started taking a sippy of water to bed with him as part of the nighttime bottle transition last year. He now really sees water as part of his naptime and bedtime routines. Owen being Owen, I'm sure I could easily break him of the habit if need be, but I never saw the harm in it. (I didn't think ahead to potty training, just thought about hydration and easing the bottle transition.) Whoops.
