Holy exhausting. Thanks again to all of you for your input!!! Of course I forgot half of my lists which was fine because halfway through I realized I was too tired to really concentrate and I would tweak the entire thing when I got home and just let dh continue to play with the gun.
*Summer* I so bad want a video monitor but there are some other pricy things we really will need so I went with the audio one with the best baby bargains review for limited interference.
*Rebekistan* I debated with dh about the stinkin' bottle warmer for a long enough time that eventually I gave in. Still trying to decide if I will leave it on or not. LOL
*Pug* many of your suggestions made it on and I registered for zero bibs (and cloth diapers/ burp clothes for that matter as dh's mother has kept herself busy making lots of diaper cakes for the shower ::sigh::)
I did not expect to be so tired and felt very lame next to the women who were much further along than I was just happily plugging along. My favorite part was sitting on the gliders.

it's extremely exhausting isn't it?!
i never saw your post in time so i didn't get to respond but here are my lifesaver suggestions if you decide to update your list.
-b/c you'll have a baby about the same time i did, i highly suggest the aden & anais swaddle blankets. they are made out of muslin and HUGE so it makes swaddling easy. they are super thin so they are perfect for summer babies. i still use them in the car, stroller, to lay down to play, etc... there aren't any other blankets that big so they are wonderful.
-i actually used all of the receiving blankets as burp clothes b/c i used the above for blankets.
-the rock & play was my lifesaver. i practically bow down to that thing. the other day one of my patients who just had a baby was complaining about sleeping and somewhere for their baby to hang out so i suggested the RNP. she sent me flowers the next day
z slept in a bassinet for 4 weeks then her crib but i still found the RNP to be one of the best items ever.
-the itzbeen timer. i used it up until she turned 6 months. best.gadget.ever. in the beginning stages when you are delirious and have no idea when you started feeding, which side you nursed from, changed a diaper, etc...this thing does it all. it even has an alarm if you have to wake for feedings in the beginning. i seriously couldn't live without that little $25 thing. if you have an iphone i'm sure theirs an app like it but i found it useful b/c if i was sleeping, then james or my mom can see the last time i changed her, fed her, etc...
-sleep gowns. with middle of the night changings, it's a PITA to unsnap all those buttons.
-we used the A&A swaddles for awhile but once she began getting out of those we used the miracle blanket (which i love) but we are now using swaddleme's and i love them just as much (probably because they are the only people that make one big enough for my kid that refuses to sleep without still swaddled.)
-we got the bottle warmer b/c it's just easier and faster. i never use it since i still nurse but james and my mom love it. my mom has the one that also has the cooler attached. it's awesome when you have different levels. that way you don't have to go all the way downstairs to get the bottle. everything is right in your/her room.
-we have the spacesaver highchair and i love it. i didn't want another piece of furniture in my kitchen. it attaches to the chair we already have and slides under the table so you don't even see it.
-angelcare monitor. there isn't much to say about it but it helps me sleep at night. i am super paranoid. i also have a video monitor but i have the less expensive tvlookin' black & white one from Summer Infant. i live in a ranch so i didn't need one to carry around with me to different levels. i only use it at night.
-every baby is different and you'll find out that what works for one, doesn't work for another. z hated her bouncy seat at my house but LOVED the one at my moms. i of course had a brand new one and the one at my moms i bought for $5 off of craigslist. she eventually liked her swing but loved the one at my moms from the beginning. again, my was brand new and hers was $20 off of craigslist. i do suggest getting a swing that goes front to back and side to side. z loved both ways and when she cried with it one way, she passed right out when i switched it.
that's all i can think of right now.

Ugh I reiterate what I said before....this is so overwhelming.

I know, registering for baby stuff seems so much more overwhelming, and less fun, than wedding registering! Everything has to do with safety, and stuff that I had no idea about.
The bottle warmer is definitely not worth the fight -- keep it on there and make YH happy
I always saved the glider part for last, because once I sat down, it was very hard to get back up!
My friend LOVES her Rock and Play and totally recommends it. It is the first thing that went on my registry list.
