I'm having a Lia Sophia/purse open house party at my house Saturday. I am selling the Lia Sophia myself, & have another consultant coming in for the purses. So I have been to plenty of parties & have seen a lot food goodies but want something related to each other or something, you know?
I did a chocolate-food-themed open house in November for Christmas shopping, & the last home party I hosted in February, I did lemon bars/puppy chow/cookies/desert spread with graham crackers.
What would you want to eat at my party this weekend? Any fun themes that sound good or fun?
Re: Home Party 3/26
Since spring is coming up you could do a fun floral theme possibly. That might take a lot of work, but it could be fun.
I always enjoy a good fruit pizza with all the yummy fruits (I usually use kiwi, blueberries, bananas and strawberries). That always makes it feel like spring/summerish. You could do melon balls, fruit pizza, apple slices, etc.
Hope it helps

I just use the Kraft Fruit Pizza Recipe. Here it is:
Ingredients:
LINE 12-inch pizza pan with foil; spray with cooking spray. Arrange cookie dough slices in single layer in prepared pan; press together to form crust. Bake 14 min.; cool completely. Invert onto plate; carefully remove foil. Turn crust over.
BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer until well blended. Spread over crust.
TOP with fruit. Mix preserves and water; brush over fruit. Refrigerate 2 hours.
I personally have never put the apricot preserves on the fruit pizza. Talking about fruit pizza makes me want to go make some...yummy!
