Mover Recs
Recommend your favorite moving company please. I am looking for someone to just move our big furniture pieces. I am more concerned with care of my items than how fast they move.
Also, If you are willing to add, about how much did it cost you. TIA!

I used M&M moving on my last move, and they did an excellent job. I was concerned about a couple of very heavy items (a dresser and a desk), and they were very careful with all of my stuff.
They gave me an estimate of how much it would cost when I called them based on questions about the items, stairs, and # of boxes.
Rarely Updated Blog
Ditto this. I was concerned mostly about our bedroom set. We spent a lot of money to buy a nice set and I was worried it would get scratched up when we moved. They made sure the pieces were covered and were very gentle when moving it, especially since we were in a 2nd floor apartment.
We've used Apple Movers twice - once for an in-town move three years ago and then again to unload our U-Haul when we came here from Atlanta in November. Last time it was $250 for the three hour minimum.
I second Unicorn. They moved us last year, and they were very careful with all of our items. Many things had to be taken apart and put back together, and they did a great job. They were also reasonably priced.
