help me price my crib for CL

I'm going to put the crib up on CL, but really don't know how much to ask. I see such a wide variety of prices on there.

We've had it since 2008 (paid more than $300 for just the crib, not sure exaclty how much) but it's in really good shape. Not a drop-side, and converts to toddler or full bed. Includes mattress and even the crib sheets and bumper if they want it.

I was thinking $250? Does that sound about right?

Re: help me price my crib for CL

  • I looked at cribs on CL and this sounds high to me... I wouldn't buy a used mattress though but I know people would.  I typically go by the rule that it should be at least half the price of what you can get a new one.

  • I think I would try $200 or $175 and maybe link to a new one so they can see the price diff? If they still make it?

  • Knowing that you barely used it, I'd think you could get $225 for it. Just mention in your ad that you coslept so it wasn't used much. If people think it's not reasonable they'll offer you something different or you can always relist it at a lower price a week later.
