    Really? Oh that's good to hear. I'm about 50 pages in and just not feeling it. Maybe I'm just not far enough in yet. I feel dumb for not being able to appreciate classic literature, especially when I so enjoy reading trashy crap.

    I wish I could come!  I love Daphne Du Maurier!  Try Frenchman's Creek next.....my DH grew up right near there in Cornwall.  My MIL turned me onto the books.  Unfortunately I have tried to get some for my kindle, but no such luck.

    I know Im not coming to book club, but Im reading the book.  It took me until about chapter 7, but once I got past that I really got into it.  I'm about 3/4s done now.

    It gets better! I wasn't feeling it the first couple of chapters either.

    Yes, I read Rebecca once a few years ago. I plan on reading it real quick as a refresher this week.

    It took me a few chapters to get into it also but now I'm hooked. I stayed up later than I should have last night because I wanted to read a few more chapters.

    I totally agree with everyone, it took about 5-6 chapters before I started getting into it.
