S/O End of the world...

Does it make anyone else laugh at the number of times the world  was/is supposed to end?

Sometime in 1994, 2000, 5/21/11, 5/12, 12/21/12.... really? I think people have too much time on their hands. What's your take?

(I'm a Christian so that may sway my thoughts, just a bit :-))

  • Agree with you - this all seems very silly to me!

  • Too funny! Kevin. And I were just talking about this today. I asked him if he had seen the new "math" people were doing with dates, he responded that they're all silly and you can pretty much find coincidences anywhere. FWIW, according to the Mayan calendar, the world will end 12-21-2012 and the new disaster math is adding to 12-22. Personally, I believe only God knows, that's what the Bible says. People just like to freak out about stuff. All of that being said, I have read a lot about the Mayan calendar because I love history. Their calendar tracked the stars and planets and was incredibly accurate, more so than even our 12 month one.
