Ryan asked the baby this morning if he/she wanted today to be his/her birthday. Too cute. He's really freaked out that I'm at work today, but oh well. I'm working til LO decides to come or dr tells me to stop.
Has anyone had Subway breakfast? I'd like to try it but I'm a little scared, lol. And speaking of breakfast, I had my usual multigrain cheerios w/ banana... followed immediately by a blueberry muffin. Sigh. Hope I can get my eating back under control after the baby is here.
Oh, I've also developed pregnancy carpal tunnel. The fun never ends.
This dreary weather is not helping my mood at all.
I made homemade stuffed shells yesterday combining Meg's and Holly's recipes. I put one tray in the freezer and we have one tray for tonight. I'm so excited, I hope they are good!
What is the proper way to thaw and drain a 10-oz frozen box of spinach?
I think I'm going to have to file at work - yuck. I'm running out of things to sort through/clean up.
I bought the grocery store brand mint chocolate chip ice cream and there are barely any chocolate chips in it. ![]()
Ryan tried to get me free Rita's twice yesterday but both times he said the line was 75 people long, and that he'll just buy me a $3.00 Rita's one day, lol.
I'm loving Scentsy's new Luna fragrance.
I'm so scattered right now - my brain/thoughts. I answered one email this morning w/ THREE emails! It took me that many to get all the answers, information in. I guess it's a good thing I'm not doing the day-to-day work anymore, lol.
ETA: I passed sheep and chickens on my way to work this morning that I've never noticed before...
I guess that's it for now. /rambling
Re: My jumbled thoughts
I love this post, Pam.
"What is the proper way to thaw and drain a 10-oz frozen box of spinach?" ha!
I usually thaw on the counter and then drain in a siev and pat w/ paper towels..
I've had the subway breakfast! It is much better than a typical fast food breakfast sandwich. Oddly enough, I never had fast food breakfast until I was in 11th grade (and I hated it).
Love the ramblings.
I can't say that I've ever had the subway breakfast...it kinda scares me too.
And for frozen spinach, i ususally just microwave the brick in a bowl for a few mintues to thaw it and then drain it, I never think to actually leave it out ahead of time, that would be smart.

Holy moly.
I've got pregnancy carpal tunnel as well, but only in my L wrist. I've been sleeping w/a brace every night and it really helps.
I'm not sure what Rita's is, but I'm assuming it's ice cream. Only because that's what I'm thinking about right now!
The Sand in My Snow Boots
Thanks, ladies.
I ended up doing a combo of all those things w/ the spinach yesterday, lol. Counter, sink w/ cold water, microwave bc it wasn't thawing fast enough. Then colander and paper towels. There should be an easier way!
Ali and Marcy, I can't believe you both have carpal tunnel already! I'm so sorry. Mine's my right hand, and of course, I'm right handed. I just feel like if I go and buy a wrist brace today, I'll have the baby tomorrow and it'll be a waste of money, lol. When we were at Walmart this weekend, Ryan told me not to get one bc he had one at home. Yeah, well, his hands/arms are bigger than mine and it was huge, haha. Should've realized that. I already have to wear a mat belt for my back, add a wrist brace and you might as well just put me in a full body cast til this baby comes.
Luna's description is:
White florals?jasmine, sweet pea and freesia?juicy berries, and sandalwood shimmer like moonlight.
I have a fear of getting carpal tunnel from being on the computer all the time. I hope that baby comes soon so it will go away. It will go away right?
Luna smells awesome! I'm ordering some for myself soon....and cherry limeade.
Ryan does realize that once you go into labor, you have a little while right? You won't spontaneously birth your child at work, haha! I see James being the same way though

This was great Pam!
E loves Subway breakfast. He gets the egg white version and says it is very tasty.
I hope the shells turn out well. You actually inspired me to make them this weekend too.
I hope that you can continue to eat everything your heart desires for awhile after baby gets here.
Um, that's all I got!
Oct.'13 Siggy Challenge: Cheers to Easter!
Yea, it should go away shortly after LO is here. It has to do with the increased blood flow and veins expanding, but nowhere to go in small areas like wrists.
The Sand in My Snow Boots
Wow. That was fun to read.
Too late, but I always put frozen spinach in a colander and run cold water over it.
