When you go away for a few days (less then 4) do you leave your cat at home alone, kennel it, or have a friend check in on it? We left her home alone this weekend. She has a self feeder and a big bowl of water. She was defintely lonely though. She was up my butt all night long.
Is your cat needy or independent? She's pretty independent but when she needs something she def lets it be known!
Does he/she sleep with you? I think most nights she gets in bed with us at some point in time but doesnt normally stay there all night long. Last night she was glued to my back. If I rolled shed stand up wait for me to get comfortable and then plop back down. It was kind of nice but kind of annoying at the same time. She purred most of the night so it was like have a vibrating heating pad on my back LOL.
If you have another pet do you treat you cat better, equal or worse then the other pet? I typically think Puddin is a second class citzen in our house LOL. Raven is our baby and Puddin is just the cat.
What do you feed your cat? Purina Cat Indoor Cat Chow. I feel guilty about this b/c I feed Raven top of the line stuff. See the question above.
How would you describe your cat's personality? She is the pretty typical dont call me Ill call you cat attitude and at times can be very demanding. Like plopping down on the lap top and pushing her head under my hand as to say "You will pet me now".

A weekend alone is fine. 4 days or more, someone would definitely be checking on her. She only has a few teeth left so I prefer to give her soft food rather than leaving hard food out, and that requires someone checking on her.
Is your cat needy or independent? Mostly independent. She really doesn't need us to do much for her.
Does he/she sleep with you?Nope. She gets locked in the basement at night.

What do you feed your cat?Science Diet soft and hard food for mature adult indoor cats.
How would you describe your cat's personality? Nutty. She's a scaredy cat for the most part, and is a lap cat because she's so old. She just loves to cuddle, but is always getting freaked out by the weirdest things.
I could never leave them alone for more than a night. I tried once leaving out a huge bowl of food and water, and it was gone.. We were away for 2 nights. It was enough food to feed a third world nation.
All 3 of them are needy.
They all sleep with us.. every night. If one is in my way, I have no problem kicking it off the bed or rolling over on it. J does his best to make sure he doesn't disturb them.. but will toss me out of bed without caring! Jerk lol
No other pets.
They get fed cat food. Dog food just doesn't seem right. And they scoffed at bird feed.. They dig the cat stuff.

Is your cat needy or independent? Sunny is very independent and Herc is very needy. He's mad at me right now because I'm washing the dishes instead of giving him attention.
Does he/she sleep with you? They both do. Sunny comes and goes but Herc is always somewhere on the bed.

How would you describe your cat's personality? Herc is your average hyperactive kitten. Sunny is a grumpy old lady but she can be very loving. Especially with Herc.

If you have another pet do you treat you cat better, equal or worse then the other pet? About the same, but I'm sure it seems like we pay more attention to the boy because he is so needy and always wants to be near us
What do you feed your cat? They have dry food out at all times (Purina Indoor, I think) and they get a little bit of wet food in the morning and evening
How would you describe your cat's personality? The older girl is very independent and only comes around when she is hungry or needs something. The boy is very needy. Always wants to be around us and is a total sucker for a nice fleece blanket.

What do you feed your cat? it's called nature's instinct chicken meal. every now and then they get wet, but they don't eat enough of it to be able to give that to them solely.

Is your cat needy or independent? Both are very independent. One has special needs and requires a lot of redirection, but when we're not home it doesn't matter. It's just that when we are home he's always chewing on something or banging on something and being loud.

What do you feed your cat? Blue Buffalo food, random treats and on the weekend mornings they get that cat milk (digestable milk for cats). They're obsessed with it.
How would you describe your cat's personality? One is a B*tch, but she's so pretty that she lures you in. She's surprisingly loving at times, but only when she wants to be. She's really well behaved though and never messes with anything. The other is the special needs one. He's sweet, but he's always doing something to make me mad. He's so cute though.

Is your cat needy or independent? Nope. They both come to me when they want love but it's not nearly as often as I would like!
Does he/she sleep with you? Skunk sleeps in bed with us and Sam sleeps cuddle up to me or out in the living room. He rarely sleeps with H.
If you have another pet do you treat you cat better, equal or worse then the other pet? I always tell H and the animals Sam is my baby and I love him the best. I have had him 9 years (longer then H) and all of the rest of the animals I have had less then 3 years. Sam sometimes pees by the door (tile) and H gets so mad but I don't really care because it's easy to clean up and he's my baby!

How would you describe your cat's personality? Sam is crabby sometimes but really loving. Skunk is a CRAZY Diva.
