It's Monday!!!

Who did something fun?

H and I drove up to Pennsylannia to an Amish flower nursery and bought flowers on Saturday, then we came home, cleaned up the yard and yesterday H planted while I made dinner...low key, but it's always relaxing playing in the dirt! In between yard work, I watched my NCAA brackets pretty much implode in the Southwest and Southeast...but I still have 8 teams standing, and my final four teams are still in it....for now :-)

What about you ladies?

Re: It's Monday!!!

  • Saturday was our 5th Annual DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT. It was super fun and our team finished 4-3 (quite a jump from last year's 0-6). My feet even made the newspaper!

After that we were pretty much dead and just relaxed and caught up on errands the rest of the weekend.

  • We went to KIMURA. Its a hibachi place. The food was amazing. So spoiled my diet, but I had a wonderful time with my DH and my brother.  Have a great week ladies.

  • We had a very low key weekend which was kinda nice.

    Friday night we stayed home.

Saturday I met with our photographer in the morning while H was working.  That night we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and had bad service.

Sunday I did some cooking and we just laid low again.

Only 10 days until Opening Day!!!!!

  • My weekend was crazy busy with birthday celebrations. I was in Amsterdam for work for a couple days and came back Friday evening exhausted. On Saturday I had a bikini wax, then we ran a bunch of errands before driving down to South Jersey in the afternoon. I missed my niece's 16th birthday celebration Thursday night since I was away, but she was in a play on Saturday so we went to it to make up for missing her bday (missing our friend's birthday drinks celebration on Saturday night, oh well).  On Sunday it was our close friend's son's first birthday party during the day and then a birthday dinner for another friend at night.  Sooo busy.... we are leaving for Punta Cana on Thursday and I am ill prepared.

  • Oh Laurie! How cute is HE! : )

Friday night we did nothing. Jeff went golfing, and I vegged. Saturday I had to help some people with some technical stuff at church as we just got a new camera/projector system. Then Jeff and I went and had lunch. After that I took a nap and chilled the rest of the day. It was fabulous!

Yesterday we went up to the horse races as all of the sponsors of each race was a business or group of people from my community. It was really fun with all of "our" people there, and with booze and betting, I still left $70 up. I'll take it! : )

  • Sounds like everyone had a better weekend than me. I spent it in bed fighting some kind of sinus infection/cold. I still have it in the chest and will FINALLY have a doctor check it out today. We also determined since you can't get ahold of anyone at the ob office to find a new ob...there are many issues regarding this ob, but the major one was not answering the phones during operating hours and not having a worknig answering service.

Hopefully this will be a better week.

  • Went to an open house on Saturday for a grad program I'm going to apply to. Ate some delicious food for lunch/dinner and went to a cookie swap on Sunday!

Definitely need to work out hard at the gym this week!

  • @Rach:  Oh la la look at your sexy legs!

@Laurie:  He's adorable!  I just wanna squeeze his little cheekers!

DH worked most of the weekend so I was doing lots of stuff around the house...cutting and freezing oodles of onions, cleaning the house, shoveling dog poo, making salad dressing and cereal, more cleaning, and working out.  I feel so accomplished after this weekend!

  • The weekend went by too fast. We had beautiful weather. I worked Saturday morning, then DH and I went to some estate sales. Sunday we took Haley to the dog park, it was a little muddy and of course she had to run through the puddles, but at least she didn't lay in it like some of the other doggies did. The rest of the afternoon DH worked on his truck and cleaned out the cars. I worked on cleaning out my flower beds, getting them ready to divide my flowers up, add new soil, as well as put a liner down. I had my interview today (finally) and it sounds like it will be awhile before I hear anything since they are at the beginning stages of interviewing. I am trying out a new recipe today so I will work on making the marinade and have it ready for DH to grill when he comes home. If it's any good, I will post it :)

  • hi everyone!!

wow it's almost 4pm and it's the first time I'm getting to nest all day..this job is verrrry different from my old one!

we had a pretty relaxing weekend, we went to an outdoor outlet mall Friday night to enjoy the beautiful evening weather...then got some gelato....on Saturday I did some shopping with DH golfed...and yesterday, my parent's came over for a Sunday feast!!!!!

  • Friday night we celebrated SD's birthday with steaks, spaghetti and s'mores pie. I then baked a chocolate cake that was TO DIE FOR. So freaking good and I'm not a chocolate cake fan. Saturday we had her party with her friends and took them to see Gnomeo and Juliet then had pizza, cake and ice cream. It was a successful party and I vegged for the rest of the night by reading Harry Potter and drinking a couple margaritas!

Sunday I did laundry, read more, crocheted and watched the Harry Potter movies on tv. It was great after all the commotion the previous several days to be a bum.
