New to sex question

Me and my boyfriend of several years have just started trying out penetration. I think it feels great, but he doesn't find it very stimulating. Is there something we can do to make it better?

Re: New to sex question

  • Has your boyfriend ever had a lover?  Or is he fairly inexperienced?  Has he always masturbated for release?

If he is used to masturbating or receiving oral sex from you, a vagina will not provide the same tightness as a hand or  the automatic feedback loop of his own hand.  It just won't.  He will need to change his expectations of intercourse and cut way back on masturbating to make the adjustment, but in time, he can retrain his penis to respond to the stimulation your vagina provides.

Now, if you want to make penetration more exciting, you can tighten your Kegel muscles during intercourse to cause your vagina to grip his penis more firmly.  Or you could reach down between your legs and grip his penis as he is moving in and out of you to provide some additional stimulation.  This will also take away some of your lubrication which might provide more friction.

    Good Luck!

  • Or you could draw your knees up to your chest and put your feet on his shoulders.

First of all, does he use the death-grip when he jerks off? Since you two have never had penetrative sex before, I'm guessing he's been beating it for a good long time, and some men have a tendency of gripping it too hard, making it impossible to orgasm from anything but the most intense kind of pressure. Once you've determined that's not the case, then try all those other tips and tricks they're giving you, but I get the sneaking suspicion he may have desensitized all of his nerve endings to light touches. There's hope if that's the case, but it takes time and patience.

  • Thanks for the help, those are some good suggestions. Good to know it's not something serious. We'll try some stuff and see how it goes.

  • Tell him to stop masterbating. Some guys wind up jackhammering because they are so used to that motion with themselves. (Or pick up a cosmopolitan and find some tips there)
