those that work full time....
what do you bring for lunch? i'm trying to lose weight and be more conscious of what i am eating during the day and am wondering if i bring too much to eat during the day at work....what is in your lunchbag?!
typically, mine includes a banana, yogurt, granola bar, apple, and a smart one meal or leftovers. is that too much?!!??!

I think that sounds pretty healthy, especially is you spread it out to snacks as well. It actually sounds kinda small to me. However, I shouldn't talk, as I am the queen of overeating!!!
Have you tried Chobani yogurt? The peach is awesome and they are on sale at HyVee (4 for $5). They actually fill me up (which is a miracle).
I usually bring soup, sandwich or leftovers & a piece of fruit for lunch. I also have a mid-morning & mid-afternoon snack. Usually fruit, a granola bar, string cheese or yogurt.
I think your sides are good, I always have string cheese around too. Also some almonds are a good/filling snack too. Trader Joes has them already portioned for sale, or 1/4 of a cup is a serving. I try to stay away from the frozen meals because even the healthy ones are so high in sodium. I have a few that I seem to rotate through for my main meal
Apple with peanut butter (tons of fiber and good fats)
turkey/mustard/weightwatchers cheese wedge on either those thin buns or in a tortilla. Occasionally, I have some spinach leaves hanging around that I might throw in there too.
three bean chili (I make a big batch and freeze it into portions)
Apple/peanut butter wrap (peanut butter on a tortilla with cut up apple pieces, raisins/sunflower seeds)
Brown rice with black beans and feta cheese (this is another thing I might make at the beginning of the week or for a dinner side)
Peanut butter and banana tortilla
Left overs, if we have chicken breasts I'll make three instead of two to take to work the next day. Same with hamburgers/turkey burgers/soups/stir-fry/etc.
Then I think you are doing just fine! Snacking is my downfall. So is chocolate (okay, let's be honest...any dessert is my downfall :oP). If you want to be more healthy, then I would cut back on frozen meals and eat more whole foods...grains, vegetables, etc.
I know I don't work full-time but I do work two full days a week so I thought I would answer.
Actually, your food choices sound really healthy. When I work I take lots of snack type food (almonds, oranges, bananas, raw veggies with hummus, greek yogurt, cheese sticks, etc...) and I eat 4 times in a work day.

I'm on the Farrell's meal plan so I eat about every 2-2.5 hours. Here's what I'm having today
Morning snack: Chobani greek yogurt, banana (Costco has Chobani in a pack of 12 (peach, strawberry, and blueberry) for about $13. So it's cheaper than Hy-Vee and Target!)
Lunch: leftovers, or deli meat sandwich
Afternoon snack: whole wheat goldfish crackers and an apple
Other snacks:
grapes, cheese cubes, cottage cheese, multi-grain cheerios, etc
Mine looks pretty comparable to yours so I say you're doing pretty good! Just be careful with yogurt and granola bars because they tend to have lots of sugar.
you should pop over to the Health & Fitness board, they have "planned eating/exercise" for each day of the week. I get some good ideas from them!
A typical day, I'll eat 4x at work, breakfast, 2snacks & lunch.
Breakfast: boiled egg / whole grain english muffin & PB OR Oatmeal w/ english muffin & PB
Snack(s): fruit, protein bar, veggies
Lunch: Left overs, salad, frozen meal, subway,
