Looking for advice on kitchen reno *pictures working*
Okay I am obsessed with this kitchen I have found, we've done some mini-renovations and we plan on upgrading to stainless this summer/fall. We have the granite and I really want to paint the cabinets white, but in the kitchen all the trim is light wood along w/ the floors (which are in good shape) I'm not against painting the trim white, etc, but it will be the only room in the house w/ white trim, as the rest of the house has dark trim (it's all orginal our house was built in 1903..)
Advice???

The way life should be-

This. If your trim is already a different color than the rest of your house, then painting it white would be just fine!
I can't see the photos, but I will say that in my house all the trim around doors/windows is white EXCEPT in the kitchen. I think it is fine.
We have a door way, and on the kitchen side it's painted green like the walls, on the other side the trim is dark.
So if you are standing in our fireplace room looking in, the trim is dark, but the kitchn is lighter/brighter
I think painting the cabinets and not painting the trim is fine.
What are you going to do with the wall colors?
