mine would be on a good bread (or even a wrap) with some sort of mayo, turkey breast, red onions, white VT Chedda, and some granny smith apple slices.

There's a restaurant in Oakland that makes my fave. Although it's basic, I LOVE it. It's Boudin's sliced sourdough, sharp chedder a dab of thousand island and tomatoes.

White bread fried to a crispy golden brown on both sides. Cooper sharp cheese inside. Simple. Delicious.

The perfect panini is the DiBruno Brothers Caprese - Fresh Mozzarella, Tomatoes, Basil Pesto Sauce, Olive Oil.

My favorite grilled cheese will always be several slices of kraft american on white bread. Everytime I eat it, I think of my late grandmother and for a second, I feel like I'm 4 y/o and in her house, sitting at her kitchen table.

A grilled ham and cheese with a honey mustard sauce on some nice thick bread sounds delicious right now.

Or a smoked provolone grilled cheese with caramelized onions on a thinner, dense bread.
