Not much new with Kiley this week, she's starting to move backwards on her knees, no forward crawling yet though.

Good luck with the no daytime pacifier! Too cute he can say Apple!
Puggs, Campbell never did that going backwards thing but I hear they don't do that long before they figure out how to go forward
.
Nothing too new with us. C is getting better at walking. He got some hard bottom shoes (sneakers) to wear outside so he's figuring out how to walk in them. We went to the park and he was trying to play with a little girl but she was too fast for him. Then he watched our neighbor's kids play on their bikes in his little buggy.
Riley went backwards 4 months before she figured out forward lol.
Not much new here. She's still pulling up just to her knees and crawls super fast, now! We visited my parents this weekend and it's the first time she hasn't been afraid of my dad, YAY! It used to be just being in the same room as him would make her cry. He was so happy, she played with him and let him hold her and everything.
Jacob is now definitely walking, but only sometimes and I think he's taken 20 steps in a row at most. So to me it doesn't really seem like walking, but everyone's telling me that it "counts." So, there you go. It is super cute to see, because he's so careful, and he really, literally, takes baby steps.
We got our family portraits done this weekend, so I finally have a good picture of the 3 of us. We spent his entire first year without getting 1 good one, so I asked for this for my birthday. I'd PIP if we bought the digital rights, but we didn't
BTW: I can't believe that Xander is saying apple! What a big word!
Unfortunately, Jacob has learned a nonsense word that Thom says. I'm so pissed, b/c I find it so annoying when Thom says it! Other than that, all he has is "mama," "dada," "yiayia" (it's Greek for grandmother), and "hi." Nothing too complicated.
lol Rebek.
Xander doesn't even say "hi" unless he is just waving. Xander can say a few words now: bye-bye, mama, dada, mom, da, nana, no no no (always in threes and normally when he's doing something he shouldn't be), and yeah.

Well we had our first 'outing' and Oliver did so well. He slept through a brass band playing in a hanger for his Papa's(grandpa) Command Change Ceramony and he got to chill with grandma at his uncles state champ hockey game (which they won)
I had my first mom scare last night though around 5am he woke up half breathing and it seemed like he had gunk he was trying to cough up, but just couldnt. I said a prayer and he went back to sleep after a bit..but I made DH come home early from work (he works nights) because I couldnt sleep I was so scared he was going to stop breathing. All is well though now:)
G is now laughing in his sleep and is thisclose to laughing while awake. He coos up a storm while smiling. He especially likes it when I sing the ABCs. And he is tolerating tummy time more these days, which is nice!
He has finally pooped after 5 days. Made up for it too! My goodness.
I think we've decided on a sitter for when I start my job.
