facebook gurus, come in.....
Is it possible to turn off the ability for friends to tag people in your photos? I've been poking around trying to figure it out and can't seem to find it. I have one friend who keeps tagging my photos with herself, and her friends (people I don't even know). I'm about to just block her, but I was trying to be nice.
Re: facebook gurus, come in.....
If you untag yourself in one of her pics, then she can't tag you anymore
ETA: Whoops, I totally misread. Yes I believe there is a setting to prevent people from tagging your photos. I'll look around when I get home because I can't access FB from work.
It looks like anyone who can view an album can tag photos, you can't turn that option off. However, you can keep your photo albums from being visible to only her. When you upload an album, select "Share Album With" and then go to "custom" and then select "Hide from these people" and type in her name.
You can untag what she tags, but that is a PITA.
mmhhmm. I'm ready to block his momma fo sho. Total, completely ridiculously unnecesary, drama ensued this weekend over me saying we were stuck in traffic via facebook.
Ummm...I could use a laugh and would appreciate a play by play of said drama. And yeah...tagging pics you're not in is just weird.
