December 2011 Birth Board is CAH-RAY-ZEE
So I was lurking over there to see if there were any December EDD's yet (because that's what mine will be if I get KU'd this month 
) and there are about 34023948239084 "hopeful" posters. If I do get KU'd this month, I would never want to post over there because it's already drama and there's really only a couple of girls who are actually due in December! Crazy!

My month board is a little like that at times, and they have a FB group but I chose not to post to often then eventually not at all. Once in a great while if I have something helpful I will reply but that is it.
In first tri all the miscarriages scared the $hit outta me.
Yeah... so... our plan is to get KU in July-ish and have a baby in April 2012. I made the mistake of posting on the April 2012 board to see if anyone else was planning that or not. The post has like 450 views and a couple of midly snarky responses. Like, duh, I know it's not guaranteed but is planning a whole one year early that insane? I mean, I spent longer than that on my wedding.
Anyways, sorry for the mini vent. There are just too many hormones on TB. I may not bother trying to make new friends.

Don't be afraid of the December board, or any other month board that starts this way. Keep lurking and once more girls start getting BFPs and EDDs in December the whole board will change and the snarky posts about all the hopefuls will stop.
Thanks. It's nothing I haven't dealt before I guess it just bugs me because I don't think it's that crazy to plan for a baby a year in advance.
That being said, I went to the Dec 11 board, and you're right. It's NUTS. I can see why people assumed I was crazy.

Woah, that IS nuts! I think (Shelley?) is right, once there are actual BFPs/EDD it will get normal. Can't wait for you to join that board and tell us if it does
I forget when the board months came out - I think it was right after C was born so most people were already attached to the age boards so March 2010 is pretty dead. I barely actually even go to the age boards anymore. I got tired of the little clubs and drama (imagine that!).
What's funny is most of the posters are from other months calling the girls crazy because they don't know for sure Dec 11 is their month. Um, well, Oct 11 we do know for sure it's not your month.
Like pp said, give it a few weeks and almost everyone currently on there will disappear.
That cantalopes seems like a real biotch. At least she's a funny biotch.

I was lurking on BOTB the other night, and there was some post going. . ."hey, look how cah-ray-zee the Dec 2011 board is", so of course they all had to go over there and flame away. . .
it will calm down once it is an actual EDD board.
