I know this is totally whiny, but please, indulge me. I just need to b!tch a little.
DH had to work yesterday afternoon for about 4-5 hours, so he didn't have to go into work today until 1. While he was working yesterday, I washed & put away dishes, cleaned our kitchen & bathroom, went for a run, did all of our laundry (including putting away my own), went to the grocery store, studied for a test at work & cooked dinner.... So it's not exactly like I was sitting at home on my rear eating bon-bons or out having loads of fun.
I asked him to do TWO THINGS before he went to work today:
1) Last night's dinner dishes
2) Put away his laundry
Dishes are done. Laundry is still in a pile on the couch. GAH! ![]()

I.fuuking.hate.that.
Seriously.
Although I have had no reason to complain the last month and a half and I'm lucky he hasn't complained while I've been out at the pool and the beach not folding the laundry lol. ETA: Wow, I'm a huge hypocrite.
He just walked in the door & asked what the look on my face was for... I motioned towards the pile of laundry sitting next to me with my eyes.
He brought up the dishes he did. Apparently I'm supposed to give a reward for 50% completion.
Ugh, I hated this. XH would list off all the things he did instead of the few things I ASKED him to do. It was so frustrating. "Yes, Im so glad you went to the gym on your day off, but what about when I asked you to clean the kitchen?"
50% is an F. Ask any school teacher.
That's incredibly frustrating.
I asked H to do them last night and he couldn't because the dishwasher was full.
*cocks gun and aims slowly*
Wow. Just wow.
Boo DH! Sounds like my DH as well. I asked him to empty the dishwasher one day and somehow he couldn't manage that which pissed me off since doesn't have a job right now and is home all day. Granted, I know when he is home he is looking for a job/on the phone with people, etc. But come on it takes 10 freaking minutes to unload a dishwasher.
Great excuse! Does he use the excuse that he can't load the dishwasher b/c it won't be loaded the way I like it done? My DH uses that excuse, which confuses me since I don't have a certain way the dishes are loaded in there just that they are in the dishwasher!
