Yay Spring!
Today is my only day at work this week, because I have surgery tomorrow. I'm a kinda nervous about it, but that's Ok.
This weekends was AWESOME. I got to see my kiddos again, I had a blast with my friends on Saturday. Then Sunday I layed around all day.
Also after meeting with my therapist and finding out some interesting information about our current situation with the foster to adopt thing, we are also exploring international adoption from Mali.
What's new ladies?!

Re: Morning Sunshines
Good morning!
I'm working 3 days this week as I'm taking Thursday and Friday off for the move. And my boss is away tomorrow and Wednesday, hehe.
We made a pretty decent dent in our packing this weekend but I still feel like there's a lot to go. And apparently our plan to get rid of as much food as possible before moving worked a little *too* well as we've got pretty much nothing. Definitely need to go for a quick trip for basics tonight. This morning I had to settle for a cupcake for breakfast, which I got at a baby shower yesterday. I guess there are worse things in the world than cupcakes for breakfast though

Sounds like an awesome wkd MO.... and good news about having more options on the adoption front.
Weekend went by way to fast... to be honest, I can barely remember what we did Friday night, but I know it involved watching March Madness... Sat I went up to my moms and helped her unload a dumpster worth of crap. I re-organized/cleaned out her bedroom, closet, bathroom, and loft... and I left her with a ton of to-dos.... can't believe some of the stuff she's hung on to and things that she's afraid to get rid of (like files such as her taxes and medical expenses from 1997) and the two trash bags worth of clothes that still had tags on them (thats aside from the 4 other bags of donatable -word?- clothes)... came home sunday and basically glued my butt to the couch to relax, I was exhausted.
Also, if you have a moment, would you pls take a second to vote for my friend in the C&B Ultimate Wedding sweepstakes. They need to get into the top 100 to move to the next round... TIA!

Good morning, ladies.
I had a great bike ride yesterday, and Lee grilled some pork chops. It was a good day.
I voted, Erinn. Good luck to them.
I had a good/busy weekend. Friday night we had Kyle's family over for dinner. We were celebrating his dad's 60th birthday. Saturday I met my mom at an outlet mall a few towns away. We had a nice lunch at a cute little local place and had fun shopping. I didn't spend too much money so all in all it was a great trip. After I got home Kyle and I went to Prom. It was a charity dinner for the foodbank. It was a 21 and over event and I was amazed at the number of adults who own/can still fit into their old prom dresses (think full-length, pink, poofy). Yesterday I cleaned and did some laundry while watching basketball and cheering for the Big 10. Then, we had a few friends over last night to watch the Illinois game.
Tonight I'm hoping to take it easy and watch some of the shows on my DVR.
Good morning, all. This weekend went by fast and was pretty fun--my parents were visiting and they seemed to have a good time. Josh got to hear lots of stories about me as a kid in Mexico. I also learned how to make mole and sopa de arroz--I'm very excited to try to make it on my own (it always seemed so complicated).
Yesterday was busy--after my parents left, I went for eight-mile run, met a friend downtown for brunch, did laundry, went shopping and did some writing. A very nice weekend overall.
Today is our second couples counseling session. The rest of the week I'm going to try not to yell at certain coworkers (there's some crap going down that is not cool).
Hi Ladies, I missed you guys while I was out of town.
MO glad to hear you had a great weekend and might have more adoption options.
I will vote tonight....promise.
It was great to get away for a few days (even though it was work related), but glad to be home. I missed all my boys terribly.
Today is a busy day at work. We had 3 people off on Thurs and Friday because they wanted to do St. Patty's day celebrations all day. So of course our worklists are a nightmare right now. We are way behind.
DH started working today! YAY! Otherwise work and sleep for me.
Good Morning Ladies!
We had a fairly productive weekend.
Saturday we got some cleaning done, it doesn't feel like enough but some. Saturday Night we went out to dinner, did some shopping and went to a movie.
Sunday we relaxed a bit, went to the Wild game, which was terrible, then had dinner with some friends.
This weekend my mom and little sisters come to visit and I am so excited! Which means this week will consist of more cleaning and organizing! I need to find motivation somewhere first.
morning ladies! I had an awesome weekend celebrating my birthday early with friends. got a little drunk on Saturday night and had a sleepover at my friend's house.
FF finally estimated an O date for me, but my temp still hasn't spiked at all, so I'm not sure what's going on in there. I'm just going to wait it out. Sunday will be 11dpo (according to FF) and cd30, so I'll test then if I haven't seen AF yet.
I finished Something Blue this morning, and although it wasn't as great at Something Borrowed, I still enjoyed it. next up is The Book Thief. anyone read that?

Good Morning! This weekend was exhausting. Friday, I helped out with a rehearsal at church. Saturday, I had the wedding to help out with and then we had an auction at church. It was awesome- we got some really great things for a really good price. However, that meant I was at the church from 1:30 until a little after 9. Too much for this pregnant lady!
Sunday, we did a lot of car research. We had planned to go car shopping, but I was too tired. Sunday night, we had dinner with my parents and my IL's.
We've had family in town for a week and a half now. My IL's left this morning. As nice as it was to spend time with them and with my dad, it will be so nice to have a week with just DH and I.
Good morning!
My weekend was busy but fun! Friday night we went out for dinner and drinks with DH's parents and his aunt and uncle. Saturday we went up to my parents house in the mountains. J helped my dad cut down a few dead trees on their property, then we had a little BBQ and sat around the fire pit. It was absolutely incredible how bright the moon was!
Sunday I cleaned house, went grocery shopping, and did laundry. I also ran all over town looking for a shower curtain for J's bathroom, but couldn't find anything I liked. Guess I'll start looking online.
I really liked the Book Thief Mandee! I really enjoyed the narrator.
I'm back in school, and if I'm going to be honest with myself, I'm really happy to be back. As much as I love time off, I'm beginning to realize more and more how much more fufilled I am when I'm at work. Teaching makes me really, really happy. I love this school too - where everyone knows my name, and that the students always greet me. I hope I get to stick around for one more year!
MO - that's cool about international adoption! Does that mean you're going to stop pursuing the foster-adopt route?

We had a hectic weekend. The IL's decided to come to town and threw all our plans out the window. Went to DH's sisters house to celebrate FIL's 60th birthday on Friday. Spent all day with the IL's Saturday and had lunch with the family on Sunday. I have a ton to get done in the next 24 hours, and now I'm at work. I REALLY should have taken today off. oh well. Half of my day will be wasted training someone to do part of my job while I'm gone, which I think is ridiculous.
We'r going to keep our options open and hope that the foster/adopt people stop being so secretive about everything that is going on and we can work things out with them. If not, then we'll be pursuing international adoptioin only. We are thinking about Mali because they have requirements that fit our situation very well. We're going to have figure out how to do it financially, and give up a lot of fun things to make it happen, but in the end we'll get on a plane fly to Africa and bring home our child.
My weekend was pretty busy.
Saturday I went shopping with a friend and bought 2 dresses and some other things. After that we had church and then UFC at my friends house
Sunday I had a 5km race. I was excited to PR - 25:27. But only good enough for 4th in my age group =( I want a medal! After that I went and played with my niece and nephew and then ran 6km more. Dinner was at the ILs.
Now we're off to the funeral home since they finally finalized everything for Mark's Grandma. Funeral home tonight and tomorrow and then funeral Wednesday.
Evening!
I had a crazy busy, but good, weekend. Friday night I chaperoned a dance and then came home and hung out with DH and BIL and his GF. Then Saturday I did a four mile run first thing in the morning, and then we went to a pancake breakfast put on by the 8th grade French students as a fundraiser, and stopped by some of my students' basketball practice where they were having a freethrow contest (I was sponsoring a couple of kids). Then I came home and primed our upstairs hallway and staircase. Sunday I painted the upstairs hallway, did a 9 mile long run, grocery shopped, and did a TON of laundry. I feel very accomplished, but also completely exhausted
