  • How many people?

Bloomington - I haven't been yet, but I've heard the new Cowboy Jack's is great. It's in the old Steak 'n Ale location. I've also heard good things about Parma 8100.

Edina - I've heard awesome things about Pinstripes, which is near The Container Store. We went to Tavern on France the other day - the food was great, but it was busy and the bar selections (at least for beer) were really boring. It's a great reliable place though.

Minneapolis - Pizzeria Lola has been getting great buzz! I'm always a fan of Cafe Maude. Pepitos would be fun.. I could so go for a margarita right now.

  • Ooh, I forgot about Pepitos!

There will be 2 of us.  We both like trying new places so I'll check out the other ones you mentioned.   Thanks!

  • I second Pepito's. Also in S Mpls, Town Hall just opened their second location right on 48th and Chicago, Town HAll Tap, which is a great place for HH. Busy a lot though, but if it is, Pepito's is just a couple doors down!

We were here Saturday night and it was pretty fun, even for a sober pregnant lady! I believe they have happy hour 3-6 and have half price appetizers. The regular menu is huge as well and we were happy with our salads and chicken sandwiches.

I went there for my birthday this year. It was alright.  I was expecting it to be a ton better than it was.

The cannolis were pretty awesome though.
