I find these days that I actually prefer a Saturday shower, but who knows how that will change in the future.

Re: Shower poll
Definitely Saturday. I like having my Sunday's as free as possible so I can recharge for the coming week.
And, if you have a lot of churchgoers on the GL, Saturdays might be easier for them too.
P.S. I loved using the acronym "GL". It's been too long.

That's the funny thing so much of our guest list is Catholic that I am always surprised by the older women being so apalled by a Saturday shower, but I guess they must go to the afternoon Saturday masses.
I have to admit way I feel these days is that a Sunday shower sort of kills the end of my weekend and seems to make it shorter. I like a nice early Saturday shower I am in the middle of some craziness at the moment and we are scheduling last minute for May.

I'm weird but it depends on the time of year for me. If it's spring/summer, I prefer a Sunday because I don't want to miss out on a Saturday of summer activities (we're big boaters/jetskiers). If it's fall/winter, I prefer Saturday because I don't want a shower interferring with my football on Sundays lol. Again, I'm weird.

Omg. A pajama party themed shower! Genius. Screw the cheesy games and vegetable trays. Eat chocolate and give each other manicures. All while wearing sweats. That sounds like the perfect party - especially if you're 8 months pregnant.

We need to trademark this!

I need to add the travel to mine as well. For some reason Andrew's family likes to have showers on Sundays even though most of us have to travel to DE from PA and it's a 6 hour round trip and makes for a long day.

For realsies.
Welcome to the dark side
Thanks ladies!! I knew I could get input here. As much as I wanted a Saturday shower everyone and their momma is dictating things so it's going to be a Sunday (as early as I can get it).
Not weird at all! I'm with you for sure!
I like Sundays during the spring/summer at around 1:00pm. That gives people time to go to church, eat lunch, whatever. Then, you don't have to have much food there because they've already eaten. I like to have my Saturdays free in the spring/summer.
Now in the fall/winter, I like Saturday showers.
If I have to travel then I prefer a Saturday so I can leave anytime on Sunday.
