So, I've been sad/stressed out about our dc search but I'm feeling MUCH better now. I got things straightened out this week, and LO will be going to the same dc my sister and I went to when we were in elementary school. The owner is a long time family friend, her daughter and I went to school together, and I feel totally comfortable leaving LO there.
I met the "baby lady" the other day and really liked her--got a good vibe, she answered all of my questions, interacted with the babies well, and seemed to really love being with the babies. I met one of the part time girls too and like her as well. PLUS, we're only going to be paying $100/week--I couldn't believe it when she told me that, it's much cheaper than I was expecting for full time daycare for an infant. Anyway, I'm still bummed LO will only be a few months old when I go back to work, but I'm feeling much better about the situation and just had to share

Re: AW: Daycare
Awesome! Daycare is a pain! We hunted and hunted and hunted! DS was on like 5 waiting lists! Then one day, our preferred center- the one that told us it would be like Aug before we got him in- called and said he had a spot! So excited!
... now if I can only find a job... Damn Tx board of nursing rules!
What do you mean that's the wrong side? Tastes great to me!
Yay!!! So glad you got it all figured out and you're happy
yay! bet that is a huge weight off your shoulders!
