How was everyone's weekend?

It was really good. Hubby, baby and I all took a nice long walk on Friday. The weather was beautiful, and it was very relaxing. The only thing we did Saturday was grocery shop which was good. We even squeezed in a 2 hour nap before heading out. We decided to do little D's bathroom in monkeys, so we bought that stuff yesterday.

We're really looking forward to this weekend because my parents are going to keep Little D overnight while the hubs and I go out and celebrate our anniversary.

Re: How was everyone's weekend?

  • I didn't do much besides grocery shop, watch Harry Potter and catch up on sleep. This month has been so emotionally draining that I haven't really been feeling like myself. I think it'll take another week or so before I feel 100 percent again.

And then, to top it off, H called yesterday and told me he forgot to send me a gift for our anniversary. Um, honey - you're gone. It's OK. I know he feels bad though, which makes me feel bad and weepy and emotional all over again. Sigh.

  • Sounds like a great weekend! Enjoy your date night :) DH came home Saturday night - woohoo!! Sunday, he napped with the baby and I was able to clean and do lots of laundry. It's amazing how much easier it is when you have someone else keeping an eye on the baby! We also were able to go through her pro pics and pick out the ones we want to buy, so hopefully I can get her birth announcements out soon! Today, baby and I are going to whole foods to do some grocery shopping. I'm going to get some filets for our anniversary dinner. I've had to give up dairy for Margot, so there are some dairy free things I need to look for there because so many things have dairy in them!!!!

  • Except for last night, it was great. I don't remember what we did Friday night, but the party Saturday night was a blast. We got home at 3:30 a.m. Sunday's party wasn't quite as raucous, but it was good. And dinner with my family last night was fun.
  • My weekend was OK for the most part. Friday night H and I both went to our gyms and then we just grabbed dinner at this italian place, it was OK...

Saturday, went to gym, made a brisket for my friends kids baptism for Sunday, made cookies, cleaned out our shoe closet, watched about 6 sex in the city episodes...(thank you, E!). Then grabbed dinner w/ a couple of friends.

Sunday, friends kids baptism, then out w/ my parents.

    Busy-ish weekend.

  • We had a nice weekend!

Saturday we didn't get much done.  Baby was being very clingy to me all day long so I couldn't accomplish anything.

Sunday my entire family came over.  It was the first time my parents had all 5 of their grandchildren together.

  • We had a nice quiet weekend, went out to dinner on Saturday night for our anniversary to the dinner at Texas Roadhouse, it's sad but that's the best place to get a steak around here.

It was great just to spend the weekend together and not worry about anything.

  • I feel like we got a lot accomplished this weekend. We got the nursery closet doors up and bought our paint. DH wants to wait to paint until we get the new windows in, which I feel like will take at least another month. I bought the door handles I originally posted, and of course supervised!
  • Not so hot. H has bronchitis! He went to Prompt Care on Friday and got the diagnosis. I left work early to pick up his meds and a pizza. Poor thing was so pitiful when I got home.

Saturday we watched three (three!) movies on Lifetime. H secretly loves them, but acts like they are stupid (which they are) while we are watching. We went for a walk and ordered in Italian and watched more movies.

Sunday I went grocery shopping and did some cooking while H napped and continued to act pitiful. We were going to have a nice dinner, but did leftovers instead. He didn't have time to get me a card and felt really bad. Here's to 2 years, in sickness and in health Stick out tongue

  • It was stressful and long. From Friday lunch to Sunday lunch, Rodgers was working so much, and then we had church, that we didn't have a chance to really talk. So I felt like I was dealing with the stress over the fire near my parents, the relief that everything turned out fine, and the mixed feelings over my new job all on my own. I was super hormonal about everything. When Rodgers and I got to talk, he just let me unload, and it was kind of like Pam's ramblings from earlier today...

Besides that, we had a pretty great weekend. Nate and I bought groceries and played in the park Saturday. After church Sunday we had a surprise lunch for our music minister's family, celebrating them being with us for 1 year. It was fried chicken. Made my tummy's day.

Then I sorted through my closet finding all the business casual clothes that currently fit me (assuming my job would be business casual). Today I found out that my office is a t-shirt and jeans kind of place. Still, it feels good to have my closet organized again.
