I bought one of those mesh feeders last night for DD. I was totally against them before, because honestly I thought they were gross, but now that she is starting to show more interest in food I wanted to try one. So what kinds of food did you put in yours for your DC. I saw online frozen fruits. Can I buy them frozen, or should freeze them myself?
Also I'd like to try to give her some avacado, how would you recommend I give this to DD.
Thanks. I'm nervous to try things other than baby food, but excited to see what DD likes.
Re: Mesh feeder 6 month old
avocado just mash up and feed her like baby food for now - in a month or two you can cut it into little pieces for her to try to pick up.
I put fresh fruits in the mesh feeder along with frozen - fresh apple, peaches, etc. Anything but banana b/c it's way to hard to clean out of that thing! I also use ice cubes in it for teething!
It's really great for anything you just don't want them to have on their own yet.
Now if only my 10 month old were interested in food!!!!

anything that you don't want baby to be able to swallow!
we did/do apples, pears, grapes, mangos, etc. fresh & frozen.
mushy things like
avacado and bana as are hard to clean out.
