The one thing I hate about living in Austin...
...is that whenever I get a sale notice from JetBlue announcing $49 flights it never applies to Austin. I want a $49 flight dammit!
Anyone else have a petty gripe about living in Austin?
Re: The one thing I hate about living in Austin...
At least they fly to Austin! They don't fly to DFW yet.
Not that I would use them all that often because I'm an AAmilesW but it'd be nice to have the option and I'm not a big fan of flying SWA. We do have Virgin America now though (to LA and SFO)!
My gripe: I hate that I don't live in Austin. =P
My gripe if I did still live in Austin: I hate it when they bring in these national chains. Yeah, it's nice to have a pinkberry and an In-N-Out and an H&M and a W hotel and stuff like that... but that just makes Austin less and less unique. They should just put all that crap in Dallas... Dallas sells out all the time.

I can feel it...I'm gonna get flamed...but I'll be honest.
It's really hard for me to see all of the homeless people asking for money. I'm not a heartless B, believe me. But I can say that that's one of the few things I hate about living here.
However, I can honestly say this too: I am so, so, so glad to be here. I spent some time in Dallas over the weekend for a friend's wedding and I am just so happy that I'll be raising my family here not there. We lived there for 4 years and that was enough. So, I can deal with some homeless peeps for all the good stuff we have.
