i hate tuesdays. im tired. i have a lot to do.
but
i leave for boston today on a grey hound bus for the rest of the week. i like traveling for work, it is great to network and learn in a hands on way as well as get a mini vacation--room service?? yes please! plus, i get to see my bff who lives in boston

I had a meeting first thing this morning...the mom doesn't show (but I know this) and try to call her for the phone conference (that she requested) and her cell is unavailable at this time. Go figure. Hope she doesn't care that her son is getting dismissed. Oh and I found out I gained another kid. So much for a smaller caseload.
So yesterday my bff (who's getting married in May and having a bachelorette party for next month) texts me to tell me her FI has drill that weekend and doesn't have a dog sitter. She wanted to reschedule but there are no free weekends between her party and her wedding that could be rescheduled. Thank goodness her mom volunteered to come down to watch the dog or she would've cancelled the ENTIRE weekend. Really?! /rant
I really need to go grocery shopping but will have to wait til pay day Thursday.
Uhhhh I have to work a full day:( I am burnt today from the baseball game yesterday. Yesterday was the first night I didn't have to pick up Greg from work. it was soooo nice not to have to leave the house at 10:30 to pick him up. I love being a 2 car family again.
Shauni have fun in Boston! I love that city. Greg and I might have to go up this year to catch a Sox game.
work picks the hotel (we stay at whatever hotel the conference is at) and this time it is the sheraton on dalton st. good area!
lots of clothes, jeans, pant suits, skirts, leggings. the weather down there is similar to our weather up here, so I am pretty prepared. i did go buy a new blazer to wear though, i have no business clothes!

I HATE Tuesdays. Getting out of bed was sooooo hard this morning. I was nice and warm and H and the cat were both cuddling with me.
I'm all sore because I actually worked out yesterday. It feels pretty good. I should exercise more often.
I am SO excited for this weekend! It can't get here soon enough!
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
It's rainy and gloomy here. Soooo hard to get out of bed this morning. Would have been a perfect day to curl up on the couch and watch movies.
I have meetings from 9-noon. :-( I have a woman at work who is blowing up my phone and email and doesn't realize that I work for a head hancho and have more important things to do than sit around and wait for her phone call about something that she would have learned if she had gone to the freakin training she was supposed to go to.
ugh, tuesdays suck.
it's sunny here, but all i wanted to do this morning was stay in bed. we got a good thunderstorm last night that freaked molly out and she was cuddling w/ me big time and hiding her head...so cute!
i colored my hair last night w/ a 28 day wash coloring...turned out HORRIBLE! i definitely cried after i dried my hair and saw how dark it was. the box was blonde...yeah, my hair is orange-ish brown...so not a good look for me! im going to wash it a few more times and then color it a few shades lighter. at least it's not permanent!!!
i attempted to make sweet potato fries last night from scratch. it was quite easy, but they still came out pretty mushy...they were still yummy though.
Tuesday, I hate you.
I am so flipping tired it's crazy. Like the time change is affecting me one week later. I feel like I can't get enough sleep. Last week I was fine, must've been a combination of The Birthday Week High and steroids, because every night I kicked buttocks cleaning and running errands, and I killed it in yard work this weekend too.I need a few nights of 9 pm bedtimes.
That doesn't have a chance of happening until Thursday. Dinner at a friend's tonight (although I can plead exhaustion and hit the road early or just cancel like a lameo) and MFD's gig at the Rover tomorrow night. I don't want to go but told my hair dresser I'd be there and she's bringing me hair products. LOL
I did nothing last night besides make dinner, pack gym bag and lunch, and assemble a basket for a beef and beer. I read and laid around.
I ate so much rice I thought I'd blow up. White rice, I can't quit you and I don't want to.Then I ate a ton of candy. WTF.
My BFF lives in Boston. So excited you will see yours and have a nice hotel time!
while i like all rices, white rice in any form is a weakness of mine. cooked hot with just some butter on it? i die. it is my ultimate comfort food.

I hate brown rice. I have tried it every which way to crazy, and it's just not happening for me.
I love saffron rice but white rice with butter and salt is the ultimate. I adore it.
I want the weekend to be here already and it's only tuesday. I had to drive to my moms house this morning which is 20 minutes the oppisite direction of work and take her dogs out because she is in Houston for meetings (and she got to visit my brother, i'm jealous). Today I have no plans but to watch tv. I went grocery shopping yesterday and got stuff for dinner for every day this week, except friday because we don't eat at home on the weekends. I made the best steaks last night, mine are usually really good but these topped all of them! H loved them!
I also love white rice with a little butter and salt!! YUM! Sometimes I put soy sauce in it instead of butter and salt, if i'm feeling a chinese-yy kind of mood.
It snowed here last night and supposedly we are getting a snowstorm tonight. yay!
DH is gone to get his car fixed at the dealership which is an hour away. Good news is that they found out some of the damage that was caused during the accident is covered by a parts recall from 2002 so we don't have to pay for the parts or labor.
I am home alone today with no work. Yesterday I made two loaves of wheat bread, did laundry, and almost finished the first batch of maple syrup. Today I have to wash and boil the canning jars, strain the syrup, boil it, strain it again, and can it. So looking forward to french toast with real maple syrup.
I also REALLY want the weekend and alas it's only Tuesday. I need to go to the gym. I should leave soon. Just doing the treadmill today. Or I could walk after work. Hmmmmmmm.
I am very busy on my lunch seeking out decor for my Royal Wedding Party. hahahahaah. I have completed my menu.

hahah! I know right!
I am psychoticly excited for this party. My BFFs are coming in from Boston and North Jerz. My aunt is coming down from upstate, and my friend from OH might come too. I have two of MFD's cousins and his sister along with at least five other friends and my mom coming. Hats are required, chintzy wedding decor will abound, and I will be wearing my wedding dress and boozing it up all the live long day. I cannot wait.
