Furnature
Hiya ladies. We're (well I) am looking to purchase new living room furniture, sofa, love seat, chair...where did you ladies find yours? TIA.

After month's of searching we settled on couches from Bob's. Honeslty, with 1 kid and more on the way hopefully in the near future, it didn't make sense to spend too much on couches that probably won't last too long without stains. But we looked everywhere.

I've been looking at Bob's Lisa, they have a beautiful set that I really want, but I was concerned with the quality. How is yours holding up? What did you get? I too am concerned with kid stains which is why I'd like dark furniture.
Holler, we have a couch from Raymore, I got it when I first moved down here in 2004 and I love it. I was thinking about checking out their Outlet Center - we don't do credit any more, if we don't have the $$ we don't buy.
Ooohh that's awesome Murr, I think we'll need to take a ride to Poughkeepsie this weekend. Maybe I can con the Mister into it by promising to stop at Halftime for some beer lol.

this is what we did too. We got our mattress, couch, oversized chair and ottoman and coffee table from there.
There is also a Bloomingdale's outlet in Westchester that had good prices, I haven't bought anything there yet but we saw a leather couch we liked before we were in the market for CHEAP.

Ditto Bobs. Buy goof proof, I would have them clean every 3 months with a lame excuse to get them out.
Lilac- I loved Value City in VA when we were there and bought a set to have moved to NY and we wound up returning it bc of the cost of moving it:( I still want that set.

We only bought the couch's a few months ago but so far so good. We have couch's we bought from Bob's about 5 years ago that are still in good shape too. We also got the goof proof but we haven't had to use it yet so I can't attest to how great that service is.
My sister is much happier with the things she bought at JC Penny then the stuff she got a Raymore
We got two couches (couch/love seat) and our living room tables from Raymour. However, i am going to get slipcovers i think as my DD is now pulling her self up and drooling on them LOL
We also got the protection package.
That's what I'm talkin' about Nik. Bob's here we come!
