AW: I made G a spring top!
I'm sure half of you saw on FB but I want to brag a little on here :-) I really hate using patterns and, suprisingly, have never made G any actual clothes-other than pillowcase dresses. I found this blog: http://shwinandshwin.blogspot.com/2010/09/petal-sleeve-top.html and fell in love with her tutorials! They are really easy and it only took a few nap times to finish the top. Here's some pictures:
G wearing it, before I added the flower embellishments (disregard her pants :-))

And the back:

And with the embellishments (sorry for the bad lighting)

I LOVE how it turned out! I can't wait to try some more that are on her blog!

Re: AW: I made G a spring top!
Super cute!
My grandmother gave me a really nice sewing machine that she doesn't use anymore. The only thing I've tackled is baby legs. I need to learn how to do more!
Ha-the back had to be 'adjusted'. I made the top too small so I had to let it out, alot! Oops!
I think it looks adorable the way it is though!
