Sigh.

Which one of your DHs shared his Man Cold with mine?

We've got full-on sniffling, sighing, moping, throat-harrumphing, and work-canceling over here.

I've told him where to find the Airborne, Zicam, and Sudafed.

Re: Sigh.

  • I may have been the last one here to suffer through the man cold.  It was not a good situation.

Sorry to hear that it's been passed on to your household!  That's no good at all.

I completely understand.  My husband's man cold resulted in a bit of a tiff between us due to the fact that after a few days of his moping and sniffling, I had run out of patience and got a little snarky.

As a result, I'm pretty sure he's going to have zero sympathy for me the next time I'm not feeling well.  Ah, well.

    Good luck!

  • No man cold here but I am going to the dr for something else

  • My husband gets the "silent man sick" - he doesn't say much but, which in some ways is worse because he gets moody, but I don't realize it because he doesn't feel good. And it is about impossible to get him to take meds.

    He basicallly acts like Eyore...moopy.

  • I have it too. It's not pretty.

  • I despise and fear the man cold. :::shudders:::

  • Man cold over at my house too.  He apologized for down playing my sickness so much and leaving me to take care of Violet and my regular duties during that time, seeing that he's on day 4 and still in bed.

Yes I'm impressed with your husband. Good for him.

  • Oh, and I just got back from running errands all over creation, one of which was taking DS to the pediatrician for his second ear infection in three weeks; after he was up every 2hr last night crying about an "ouchie" I figured it was time. That was after his haircut and the dog food store, and before Meijer and someone coming over to look at our couch for sale.

DH magnanimously handled naptime stories so I could eat. I 'bout fell off my boots.

    Man colds are exhausting.

    Eyore reference made me laugh.
