Diagnose me! (Yes, it's a bit gross.)
I went to bed last night feeling fine. I woke up in the middle of the night, choking/gagging on what seemed like vomit. I hadn't vomited though and I couldn't force myself to do so either. I had an odd feeling in my throat still when I went back to bed, but like I said, nothing was happening.
What do you think happened? Is it something I need to be concerned with?
Re: Diagnose me! (Yes, it's a bit gross.)
Sometimes I wake up because I feel like I am drooling so much in my sleep that I choke on my spit. It is really gross, but it has only happened to me when I'm pregnant. Last night I propped up on a couple extra pillows so I was up at an angle and actually slept a lot better than I have. I feel like the baby is all up in my ribs so when I curl up on my side like usual it is really uncomfortable.
Good luck...isn't pregnancy so glamourous?

Very glamorous Cygal! I keep thinking if some of the side effects like this were made known to teens that maybe, just maybe they would think twice. (Dreaming big, I know!)
I bet it's acid reflux. At least there are some simple (and normal) solutions for it.
Thanks ladies!!
YES! Welcome to AR!
Keep plenty of Tums around, and you're allowed to take Zantac, Chocolate Milk was my savor!
You would think that, huh? I wish that were the case, but it's not. :-( I work with teen parents who are pregnant with their 2nd and 3rd children.
